Before I waste 600 gems... New Throne

Before I spend 600 gems on the new throne, is it useable in WvW. The gemstore description doesn't say anything.

Most toys don’t work in WvW because people found ways to use them to advantage. Perhaps it will be allowed later but there’s no guarantee.

Just out of curiosity how could the chair be used to advantage in WvW?

A few years back you could transform into a quaggan using one of the quaggan tonics, hide in the corner of a keep and your name would be hidden so people couldn't easily spot you.

 

That was before marked after capture of course, but perhaps the chair produces the same result and somehow ignores marked or some sort of other unintentional result that goes against the new systems we have in WvW and that unknown result is an advantage. Either way, if it's disabled, there's got to be a reason.

The short answer is that chairs are mounts and mounts and all their related code are entirely unavailable in the mode.

The other thing is that chairs are a bit like immobile mounts (look at the skill bar while seated), and mounts aren't allowed in WvW. (That is, they may be collateral damage.)
