Ayakaru.6583
I have a small problem with the centaur bones found all across the Necropolis and the Bone Palace; name the skull of said skeletons. They have flat-faced human skulls, and we know for a fact there is no known centaur species with a complete human-flat face. The Maguuman centaurs had somewhat bovine faces, the Elonian centaurs looked like gazelles, and the shiverpeaks weren't exactly mother's finest either. So did they replace the skulls of the centaurs, since Joko didn't like them? I mean, it would (ironically) make sense that Joko would use the bones of centaurs as construction and replace the skulls with humans who defended/harbored the centaurs ![](https://dviw3bl0enbyw.cloudfront.net/uploads/forum_attachment/file/242254/gwn_centaur.jpg "") (btw, is there a way to show pictures instead of links?) Jaken.6801
Mhm, you are right. Maybe the artteam should take a look at that. Otherwise, no, there is no way to show pictures instead of links. Something that is regreted by most of the community and even Gaile, but it seems like their security is defending that change. Bryon.3164
He switched them. Awakened Blademasters, Blademaster Guards, and joko's elite Guard all used this [model](https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Awakened_Blademaster "model") in GW1. [Concept art](https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/File:Awakened_Blademaster_concept_art.jpg "Concept art") just for an easy side view. Also some of the Awakened look like mummified [tengu](https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/File:Awakened_necromancer.jpg "tengu").
Konig Des Todes.2086
The blademasters wore masks of horse faces, but we never actually saw them _with_ horse faces. (which is why I linked the awakened monk, which is maskless, rather than the mesmer which is a female centaur with a human face mask) The awakened defilers looked more like charr. They had a furless charr tail, and had teeth on their skull rather than a beak.
Pax.3548
Well, guess he, being a necromancer, switched body parts on his soldier (why not if this would make them stronger)
