ChocolateBlaze.7840
I don't remember why it was changed on RoA, but with all this boon strip and corruption, its pretty annoying. We can only get 2 ways of getting stability and both can easily be removed.

Why do all these other classes get pulsing stability if they want to provide counterplay by boon removal? Especially warriors get double Balanced Stance AND Rampage (that's not to say current builds actually use all 3, but still).

They don't care about other class like Guardian and Warrior getting out of control in PVE/ PVP though. They care so much about gutting down ranger that they never return the CD of Strength of the Pack (60 sec cd or 48) even in PVE. They don't bother to return the pulsing stability too. anduriell.6280
I guess Anet decided later this year Ranger would be a pewpew class. As such having almost no access to stability is justified. However to achieve that i would think some steps are missing: * All ranged weapons should improve in general. 900 range is not actually a range which justify the lack of stability as all classes can close gap that distance easily. The 1500 could be justified, 1200 if he weapon bring some defensive skills. * All ranged weapons would need to have the same level of damage and utility the Longbow brings. As soulbeast is a DPS spec with focus in melee (99% of the new skills are very short range) the lack of stability is a problem. * My sugestion is for One Wolf Pack to apply stability and fury for each strike triggered. Erzian.5218
I don't know why balance stance pulses, but I think it is fair for the high cool down transformations to have pulsing stability, especially as they lock you out of your utility skills. Heimskarl Ashfiend.9582
Not only a pulsing stab, but make it insta cast and a stun break. It is an elite skill afterall.
ProtoMarcus.7649
Yeah stun break is mandatory, wouldn't mind a _(very small)_ activation time, like 0.25s - would also allow to use the sound effect earlier, right now we shout it after the full 1s, a bit weird Ahahah Also needs its base CD lowered now... Back to 60s + You have to build the might stacks + Fury and Swiftness is already very accessible for the ranger The CD is justified by the stability boon mainly. LughLongArm.5460
They designed the Soulbeast mainly from a flavor prospective other than a functional prospective. How can we be "fortline bruisers" , with no pulsing stability, no real blocking, no good source of resistance, small radius and range skills. etc.... Substance E.4852
Anet nerfed SotP to make Dolyak Stance seem more appealing. Plain and simple.
