Will we see new interactions or comments or EVEN JOKES about Joko being eaten from the Royal Crazy one? What about how Kralk is in the mists where Mad King is, how will it turn out? will we have a branded mad king?! new enemies?! Will Mad king thorn help us? Hoodie.1045 Posted September 21, 2018 Share Posted September 21, 2018 It would be nice if they actually added new voice lines for the Mad King to say this Halloween so that players don't feel like they're stuck in the past, but personally I wish the Bloody Prince Thorn mini dungeons were brought back. Just because two beings are in the Mists, doesn't mean they're anywhere close to each other. It's kind of like saying a planet in the Andromeda galaxy is close to Earth because it's in the same universe. Granted there are plenty of indications telling us that the afterlives like the Mad Realm are "close to Tyria" and the desert-like place Kralkatorrik was found in is similarly close to Tyria, but it's still potentially the distance from each other like the Earth is to the Moon. As to the question of the feud between Joko and Thorn, there's really two options. They can either massively spoil things for players by adding Joko into the Halloween event / have Thorn comment on Joko's death, or avoid spoilers and do nothing. By the time Halloween rolls around, he'll have been gone for four months. That's more than enough time for any active players, and for the inactive players, a year or two might still be too short. Castigator.3470 Posted September 22, 2018 Share Posted September 22, 2018 My guess is that Palawa Joko still exists as a ghost in the Mists, in the same way that other ghosts do, just the magic that bound him to his body, allowing to revive whenever he wanted to, that has been absorbed and his body digested, so he likely won't return in the flesh. Halloween, however allows him to focus on his ongoing rivalry with the Thorns. I hope we'll get to see the interactions between the three of them. Well, that would have been possible, right up until Aurene destroyed his body. Now we have to rely on Joko's ghost still being out there. Necromancer minions cannot be risen, because they have never been alive to begin with. So I don't think dragon droppings can be risen, or deathbranded, because they no longer resemble the original. Though dragon minion risen were, with a few notable exceptions, not identical to the people whose body they wore, so a deathbranded Joko could have existed independently from Palawa Joko, in a similar manner to Howl the Brazen, or captain Romke, who I linked earlier.
