Danikat.8537 Posted November 27, 2018 Share Posted November 27, 2018 I've not logged in since the update but if it's like the rental mounts for other races there should be an NPC near the start of the race who you speak to if you want to rent one. If you haven't ridden a roller beetle before, you may want to look up their page on the wiki and take a look at the movement controls. I rode my first one at the Snowden Drifts track yesterday and it took a visit to the wiki page to see why everyone else kept whizzing right past me. The space bar provides a speed boost. Then of course I had to learn to be careful where I sped up as well as how to use the C button to drift. There is a learning curve but the tracks offer a lot of practice runs and on my first day I was able beat the required times at two different tracks. (Bronze on one, Silver on the other.)
