In-Game Cosplay !

Hello everyone!

I know there are some players who like to do in game cosplay,i try to but i am not good at it... I would love to see some of your creations!

While the Santana reference gave me a big smile ( :+1: ), I am not sure I want any more stuff in this game that breaks the immersion. The newly added roller beetle races are already bad enough in that regard as they have blemished the respective maps forever - you will never be able again to roam them without running into Mario Kart racers.

Ill be glad when i can visit those maps and /not/ have players names appear in the middle of my screen when im not involved in the race >.>

I am honored you remember my Santa...(deep bow) :) And I agree...that thread had some great stuff...:)

Here's a post again of Santa Odin...he usually hangs out in DR for a time by the Wintersday Tree for photo ops (I usually post in Map Chat that I am there and how long I will be there)...with a trusty side-kick of Ho-Ho-Tron, Gift Skritt, Gift Dolyak, or any other "Holiday" Mini I may have...lol

Finally a funny topic once again.

 

1.) Santa Clause (met in Divinity's Reach around last year?)


 

2.) Dr. Eggman from Sonic the Hedgehog (met in Rata Sum a few years ago)


 

3.) Devil May Cry 3 - Vergil armed with Beowulf clean, Beowulf + Force Edge and Yamato, in Devil Trigger


Note: I've spent almost an hour switching between Character Creation and Armor Dyes to find the right skin-color + armor-dye match. Just to create the illusion of Vergil wearing his iconic sleeveless shirt.

 

4.) Boba Fett - Star Wars (old movies)


 

Now we get to the more tricky ones.

 

5.) Cardinal Richelieu


This character ate several hours, just the face took 3-4 tries. Trying to create a "young" version from the drawings. After serveral tries with the armor skins, I decided to go for a hybride of Henri Motte's depiction of Cardinal Richelieu at the Siege of La Rochelle and the appearance of Captain Rochefort (Michael Wincott version), Richelieu's royal guard in the Three Musketeers movies. I loved the movies as a kid.

 

The character itself is a tradition I carry on through every MMORPG I play. My healer/archivist is a Cardinal Richelieu cosplay, mage with a staff, but written with the latin V for U, to guarantee the name is not taken. To my regret, the character was a complete nightmare. Staff Druid is just horrible for me. The Character ended up as a gatherer and archivist of books/relics, until I have enough courage to rebuild him with another class. I currently have an idea for a Thief, so I could recycle the nice skins 1:1.

 

6.) Cato the Elder


Note I: The original version was actually bald. But some people in my guild asked me to give him hair, because I am only in my 30's and should not play a bald character /shrug.

Note II: If you wonder about the location. The screenshot was taken in one of the four Houses north/above the Crystal in the Lost Precipice Guildhall.
