I decided to try it out playing as a hybrid. The advantages of damage and poison combined are as a bonus. You get effectively an extra 5-6 stacks of might plus the poison on a regular basis. The power helps all attacks while the poison is on Dagger attacks.

 

You won’t get the burst of a trap but you don’t need to worry about the trap popping you out of stealth. You also don’t get the heal from Mug. Overall it is a nice enhancement that provides a little more consistent poison pressure and damage.
