World Boss: A Forgotten Event?

I am a returning player and currently working on a legendary weapon that requires me to obtain a trophy for certain world bosses. I quickly realise that there is absolutely no player participating in the event anymore. I did some reading online, many claims that it is because the reward is not good enough. So, ArenaNet has no plan to address this issue at all?

Which world boss are you talking about? There are none that I know of that don't have people doing them. Unless it is tripple trouble wurm then there are still groups that organize them but you need to look to map chat or LFG to see when they are doing it.

Which boss? Which event? At peak times (like weekends in the evening) you often get squads going from one World Boss to the next. Use the https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Event_timers to make sure you get there at about the right time and hope for the best. You could always start a squad and put it in the LFG ahead of time to attract people.

I'm guessing Serpent's Ire because that is one that gets a lot of complaints around here. If so, OP, please use the forums search feature as there have been threads that have already addressed this one with advice on how to team up with people to complete it.

I can't see anything in Gen2 Legendary Weapons that would require Serpent's Ire, specifically.

It would seem, to me, the only thing that would require a World Boss would be the crafting collections for Legendary Weapons, and none are from PoF/Elona.

I was trying to do Mordrem Vinewrath (not exactly a world boss) and Tequatl but found only 2 players on map. It is very upsetting. :(

You can find active Silverwastes maps in the LFG. Tequatl, as well, if no Guilds do it regularly. I'm sure it's full when it's a Daily, or the map is.

Keep in mind that many players are still enjoying Wintersday. That should change later today.

Do Teq at the daily reset. Arrive 30 minutes early to the map.

Teq look at the timer on GW2 wiki https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Event_timers you probably arrived too close to the event and wound up on a new map. You don't need to do it any specific time it is a really popular world boss if only for the karma you get from doing it.

Modrem is also a popular event chain and can be found on LFG just about any time during the day.

I have never had problems with those two events unless I try to join exactly at the spawn time. 10 minutes is fine, just not right at the spawn.

Look for RIBA in lfg open map squad. That is the acronym for the silverwastes rotation and includes vinewrath. I GUARANTEE people still do this boss as the rotation is quite lucrative. Enough so that there is even a discord just for sw farming.
