Slyverine.7081
We all know that every relink many guilds try to server stack and get some easy wins by joinning the winning side.Me as a Gunnar's Hold player since release, have a bad experience from it. The other thing we know is that most players love shinnies, rewards and tittles. So my suggestion would be to rewards players for their royality to their server and give them some kind of something, maybe a new currency, or more tickets every week, or every relink or something. Also a title would be nice like "Gunnar's Hold general",that maybe could be shown to enemies like they can see our rank.If you constantly move servers you get nothing. This maybe , will discourage players from constantly moving servers every relink.
oOStaticOo.9467
The path of least resistance will always be taken. People will transfer to make easier wins every time. Doesn't matter what you do, short of banning transfers.

VAHNeunzehnsechundsiebzig.
hm, in that case: after switching servers you do 20% less damage for 8 weeks. Would solve the problem straight away. Switch servers? no easy wins for you anymore.
Grim West.3194
Transfer Wars sucks. And for 6 years that is the best ANET could do. ANET screwed up WvW so badly that I doubt that any incentive can fix it. ANET makes great PvE if you like that sort of thing but they are incompetent at PvP and RvR design. LetoII.3782
If they wanted to stop it, they wouldn't allow transfers. Hint: they don't want to stop it
DeadlySynz.3471
Maybe something more harsh needs to be done. Create something called a "home sickness" debuff / "no place like home" buff.. lol. Basically, imagine this started next week. Every week you spend on your server, you get a +10% increase in all stats, caps out at +50% after 5 weeks. Conversely, if you jump ship to a new server, you become homesick and with that comes an immediate -50% in all stats. Each week you spend there, they increase +10%. After 5 weeks, your stats are baseline. If you spend 5 more weeks there, you're at +50%. Basically, trying to swap to the a winning server is a death sentence for the first few weeks. It won't matter how good the guild is (or thinks they are), they aren't winning anything for the 1st couple of weeks. They'd be hard pressed to pull out any wins after that up until their baseline. What it comes down to is, your "want" to be on that particular server (maybe with your friends or guildies), has to exceed the fact that you're likely to get shellacked for the first few weeks you're there. It won't make much sense to try and swap to a winning server when in actuality, you'll likely be more of a liability.

So if you want to play with your friends/guild you're unable to play for 5/8 weeks, great suggestion, easy way to kill off WvW. > @"Slyverine.7081" said: > We all know that every relink many guilds try to server stack and get some easy wins by joinning the winning side.Me as a Gunnar's Hold player since release, have a bad experience from it. > Just delete all non-host servers, that would partly fix the problem, at least people need to pay full price then and servers can get full...The current system is very strange with host/guests anyway
Hitman.5829
The solution is very simple. Solution: * Once Anet resets matches and puts every server on a link, then close the servers so that no people can unbalance it by transferring. problem solved! You are welcome! But, we all know that is not going to happen because Anet loves those people who spend the green paper to buy gems!

etsmith.9025
Easy fix, 40 cash to move. No gems. If they really want to have them cough up a card. Some will still transfer. Should make it more manageable
