It looks really awesome, in fact. Warhammers are supposed to be agile armor crushers, not bricks that weight more then the wielder. Fantasy art. Sigh. > > https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gallant_Hammer Way too big. I would have loved the Gallant set, best art in the game, but some nitwit seems to have decided before they launched that they weren't impressive enough and doubled the scale on them. The hand grips are all wrong even. The only skins that didn't fall to the "sword envy" rescale were the two bows.
Edelweiss.4261
My two favorite are the glacial hammer skin mentioned earlier in the thread and the equinox hammer skin. The equinox hammer looks like a pendulum and, at least in the picture, it looks sharp. Sharp hammers aren't hammers, so I like 'em.

I typically use the Krytan one, not the best, but better than most of the alternatives. I'm having a hard time finding hammers I like in this game. People always have their own limits on what they will and won't accept with the boundaries of realism being tested in fantasy games.
sorudo.9054
there are only a few actual hammer skins and allot of pwetty clubs.
Linebreaker.7904
Lightwards for the pretty, Phoenix for the smash. The Gallant hammer would be amazing if it was scaled down *a lot*. I like the SAB hammers a lot too, they seem mostly correct in size and form. If you ignore their SABness.

hugo.4705
Mecha anchor is awesome but I would have mirrored it, because it's basically a scythe.

Steve The Cynic.3217
I'm disappointed that nobody has mentioned the [War Hammer (spiked)](https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/War_Hammer_(spiked) "War Hammer (spiked)") from GW1. A hammer whose head consists entirely of spikes, and yet it somehow does *blunt* damage. ![](https://wiki.guildwars.com/images/2/29/War_Hammer_%28spiked%29.jpg "")
Steve The Cynic.3217
I feel that I should really add a GW2 hammer here. There is, evidently, only one candidate, [The Ugly Stick](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/The_Ugly_Stick "The Ugly Stick").
