Build for duoing with thief?

Hi yaaa'll!

 

I'm kinda lost here.

 

Trying to figure out a build I can use to roam with my thief friend. He's a deadeye, and doesnt really contribute much to me either, other than some boonshares from steal and from the deadeye traitline (sweet sweet mights).

 

Anyways, I feel like I had more tools to help us out with scrapper.

 

I've come to understand that yolosmith (hah) is a kind of selfish spec to run, which is nice when I'm running alone.

 

I'm using some variant of this right now: https://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Holosmith_-_DPS_Holosmith - and yea it does awesome damage, but if we get overrun by a zerg, we're almost certenly dead (at least me, he's got unlimited stealth).

 

Any inputs? :-)

If you want to tail zergs i think you will be forced to ditch the explosives-traitline. You cant use stealth effectively with the first minor. Every dodge will reveal you instantly.

I'd probably recommend HT/RB/S/__/PLB.

Holosmith 1,2,2

Alchemy 2,2,1

Inventions 1,3,2

Or

Tools 2,1,3

 

If you slot a kit (most likely EG) for the empty slot you can go with Tools, but otherwise Inventions.

 

You can be most helpful by staying alive so build (and play) with that in mind.
