What Soldiers profession to go with?

I'm having trouble deciding what Soldier class to go with. I had chosen Necr and Engineer for my other two class but I would like to have at least one class form each Profession tree. What I think I would be doing the most is PVE stuff, roaming around, doing dungeons and events, And I might do WvW since it seems like a blind of both PvE and PvP. The Warrior seem like a boring class out of the three as it's skills are not that interested it seems to me. The Guardian is the second most interest out of the Soldiers and I don't mind giving a bit of support to my allies. Here a build I made for it I think I will go with. I base the build around the whole burning thing as the class seems to able to apply burns a lot. [Firebrand](http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?vVAQNAR3flsAhqgYjQwZIQQELxDmVI4F8oqCAbpBweL9muTB-jBiAQBCS3QfeAAfS9nmp8zBXEAAcEAmpSQds/AA-e "Firebrand") and a [Core one](http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vVAQNAR5flsAhqgYjQwZIQQEHxDVOFfxZsGAb5AYDhX4RB-jBiAQB95BA8J1fAwBBQQ6G0x+DO4KA0MlfzUJIA-e "Core one")

The Revenant is out of the interesting of all of them but I have heard it now weak and hard to play. I made two builds. My [damages build](http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?vlMQNAsXlnXMfNSumvJRZzHlst5kSY38SJ4burkFNlKtDChT4vHPylsdBCgGA-jRSAQBA4IA0tTAAbVCGiDBACeAATVfQXV/5sK/ux+DAA-e "damages build") can't decide on mac/sword or sword/axe combo and my [Tank/Suppor build](http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?vlAQJASmn3gWNSuQrJRbo/ksP0gS4I6QJ4EdrkFZlRNgFiYtjPKxO6rDH-jRiCQBD4QAwi9HgmyPgprRYq/AgLAQJVCWvjAgyeAAAA-e "Tank/Suppor build"). Like to hear you guys thought the one who you think is the best Soldier class and on my builds and anything else.

Nah I think this is accurate.

I would honestly recommend using the Guardian.

Multiple builds for different game modes.

You can support as a firebrand or dps as core in Spvp.

You cam dps or support in PvE

Or you can roam with a solo build or team build using core, firebrand, or DH. In WvW.

And you can Zerg using firebrand.

Here is the FB build I use for OW and events. Some less health than your build, but alot more burn damage. It can also provide healing and quickness support with a couple of trait/skill changes; yet it has same power as yours for GS and with more crit.

If you didn't mind, or even enjoyed, having to deal with multiple toolkits on your engineer, and thus you enjoy the class's complexity, then I think you'd get along really fine with revenant and their energy management mechanics.

For your stated purpose, any of the three classes will do, it boils down to which one will give you the most enjoyable playing experience.

Guardian is more all-purpose compared to the other two being that there's a much greater variety to the types of builds as there are different roles you can fill. All three have good options though. You won't know for sure what you'll like best until you try them all. But the safest pick for now would probably be Guardian.

If you are new to the game and these are your only professions, I would not recommend guardian. Especially if you plan on doing PVE. Guardian is dependent on active defenses way more than other two professions.

Take warrior, take banners and you are welcomed in any group content and you have a great class with good burst dps and offensive support. Not to mention great CC for breakbar phases.
