Dry Top Legendary Bloodstone-crazed Devourer spawns

Recommended Posts

This spawn is happening literally on top of map meta events, during the sandstorm. Can it spawn at some other time or in some other place?

With my play times, there is often only three of us taking down a champion (frustrating but do-able). Having a legendary turn up while we are doing this is frustrating.

All Bloodstone-crazed monsters spawn instead of the regular respawn of a normal mob. This means they can spawn anywhere on the map that the mob type exists, and is more likely to spawn where more of its typ is being killed. This is by design.

To avoid the legendary, the options are:

* Check with [Levvi's Device](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Levvi%27s_Device "Levvi's Device") to make sure the Devourer isn't in line to spawn, or has already been killed on this map.

* If it *is* in line to spawn, avoid killing devourers.

I don't think the way the Bloodstone Crazed mobs spawn *can* be locked out of specific map parts.

So, unfortunately, the only way to avoid it is to not do those events when the Devourer is about to spawn (check with Levvi's Device).

They spawn from a monster dying not respawn. It spawns right on top of where the normal creature died.

A solution would be to make creatures spawned by events not trigger the bloodcrazed creatures which would also take care of the horrible overlap in VB as well.
