sneakytails.5629
Spellbreaker is not far behind though, a few more decent nerfs should do it.
cryorion.9532
If they nerf Spellbreaker even more and suspiciously too much, it will be good indicator of incoming new elite specializations :) It took half a year between heavy berserker nerfs and PoF. Girth.9731
SB is strong for quite a few reasons. The tree has alot of natural synergy with other Warrior trait lines. For example, having multiple smaller burst skills (i.e. Arcing Slice > FC > Arcing Slice) procs Building Momentum in the Strength tree many more times than a single burst skill does. Magebane Tether provides awesome might gain that synergizes with Might Makes Right and Pinnacle of Strength. You get the idea. Additionally, SB provides many defensive tools that allow the Warrior to stay in the fight, prevent getting bursted, and outsustain its opponents; thats how the class tends to win fights. As for Berserker, after playing with it for a little while, its not as bad as people say it is. Headbutt is an AMAZING eliet skill, one of the best in the game, and Outrage is a stunbreak on a 10s CD. The problem is that the tree has little synergy with the rest of the class trees, virtually no defensive options, and pretty bad might gain. Traits like Dead or Alive are hilariously underpowered by today's standards.

Traits like Dead or Alive are hilariously underpowered by today's standards. Few days ago, I started testing full celestial berserker in WvW to see if the hybrid works somehow. Defense, Discipline, Berserker, Mace(Energy)/Shield(Absorption) + Sword(Doom)/Sword(Hydromancy) with runes of Defender. Healing Signet, Berserker Stance, Shattering Blow (additional block/reflect + stability + bleeds), Balanced Stance and Head Butt. I have to say that so far, it seems pretty good (and somehow fun to play - Skull Grinder is such satisfying skill to use), but mostly because people are surprised from sudden condition burst from warrior which is enhanced with sigil of doom and hydromancy, and some crits are pretty good. The 3 blocks are really good against projectiles and when moving around enemy zerg. The build has very good sustain. I still have to test it more, against people who expect the burst and those who have good condi cleanse. It is not that good for big zerg fights, as you cant contribute that much with it. Only autoattacks and Flaming Flurry cleave (and Shattering Blow hits 5 targets, but...). It has only 1 mobility skill with 600 range (Savage Leap) so you can't run away like with greatsword. Power berserker is still underwhelming though. The build mentioned above uses the stronger part of berserker more, which is condi (Skull Grinder and Flaming Flurry). Krieger.4712
Warrior **Increased the cost of entering Berserk mode from 30 adrenaline to 35 adrenaline.** Players can now prevent adrenaline loss between encounters by using attack skills, even if they don't hit anything.
