PlagueParade.7942
If this is true couldn't anet make it where, while in combat, you cannot stow your weapons? I know in pvp a lot people will weapon stow to end animation locks but that doesn't seem something that was intended anyhow. Preventing weapon stow while in combat would eliminate things like this. Shikaru.7618
In theory yes but I think what anet needs to do first is decide whether or not they want stow weapon animation cancels to be an expression of skill or not. I can see it going either way but if they decide they do want it to be intended, they should make cancelling more integral part if the game by allowing more skills to cancel instead of a random button like stow. Khisanth.2948
I don't think they have problem with people stowing to cancel animations as much as stowing to cancel to get higher DPS. Partly because this also means in PvP you end up with counter intuitive game play where interrupting your enemy can result in taking more damage. Warscythes.9307
I think the interrupting current action is intended behavior, I don't think it is the intended usage. However I think this is one of those cases of emergent gameplay where it benefits the game overall than hindering it. See starcraft's mutalisk bug for example or dodge jumping.
