Please option to turn off tooltips pop ups

Lots of people are clickers, and its been 6 years and we STILL don't have the option to get rid of tooltip boxes that stack so high at times they go 3/4 the way up the screen and you can't even see what your doing (hello mesmer)

 

Why is the most basic feature in an mmo like this missing 6 years later (or better yet why wasn't it in game since launch)

I don't know, you have to leave your cursor on the Skill icon/box longer than a click to see the tool-tip.

If it's something used all the time, put it on auto? Then, you need only click it once.

Yes, there used to be a feature where you could regulate the time it takes for a tooltip to pop up (a.k.a. delay). I miss having that, too, or a complete disabler of tooltips as the OP suggests. I am all for it! Especially annoying for people who use larger font sizes in-game - such a tooltip might easily cover up half your screen (and your target enemy).

I dont know of any other mmo i've ever played that didn't have this feature.

 

WoW, RIFT, DDO, ESO, Wildstar, FFXIV, etc
