But game companies almost never allow trade-ins for microtransactions, because it's a different environment and there's a financial disincentive to doing so. Danikat.8537 Posted August 25, 2019 Share Posted August 25, 2019 I'd like this with some of the black lion chest or guarenteed wardrobe unlock items - I've gotten a few things I'm unlikely to ever use and it would be nice to trade them in for something else, but that's also unlikely to happen because it would defeat the point of giving you a random item in the first place. With outfits and other things sold directly in the gem store it's not a problem for me because I don't buy them unless I'm sure I want it and will use it. Rauderi.8706 Posted August 26, 2019 Share Posted August 26, 2019 I find it kind of sketch that there's "no way to re-lock" items. It's a bit; flip it. Personally, I'd *love* for there to be a way to re-sell gem store items on consignment if I no longer want them. Gives someone else the opportunity to buy at a sale value (limited quantity, so buy now!), and I'd be rid of those regret purchases while getting currency to buy something else (and since it's at a loss, I'd have to buy more gems to cover the difference).
