Now he's thinking about jumping back into it and I'd like to get him POF as a late birthday present, but from what I've been reading it sounds like it's absolutely impossible to gift gems to someone else unless you hand them cash in person (he lives several states away so that's not going to happen). It also doesn't seem like I can just buy POF from the website since I already own it. What are my options here? Why does this have to be so difficult? No you just need a second email not assosiated with a gw2 account, the key will be emailed to that email you cut and paste it over to your friend.
