Shoulders of the Ebon Vanguard Choice Chest Drop

Can anyone shed some light on this drop?

 

Does it

 

A drop from the Daily chests

Or

B Drop from the boss chest?

But that's open to interpretation of being both daily chest and boss chest?

 

I dont feel like spamming the instance to find out that yes it's actually just a daily drop and not a % chance on kill.

The strike mission takes 10 minutes. Just use the public option.

Ah, now I understand your initial question. There are two different chest drops in that instance, a daily one and one for each kill? I did not know, I only did the really badly designed Strike Mission once.

Aye, i want and need this shoulder skin, but insight into its drop will let me know if im wasting time or not. Also will help out everyone else trying to get the skin.

You could play the content and preview the chests' contents.

Wasting time in terms of daily chest or bos chest,

 

if daily then you only need to try the 3 times. if not, spam it.

 

Rumour has it, from one guy its from the boss.. this is to be confirmed though.

I can confirm at the very least they drop from the strike mission, as I'm the one from GW2W that had the 2/2. I only do the strike mission once per day though so I couldn't tell you if it's a daily or boss chest.

 

Obviously more data is needed, but that's where I got it. And I've now won 3 chests and unlocked all 3 weights of the skin.

I have had it drop once for me so far, and if I remember correctly, it dropped from one of the purple chests I had to actually click on to loot. Are those the daily chests? I don't remember seeing it pop up in my loot feed until I right clicked on a purple chest.

I got shoulders from the strike mission boss.
