jonesy.1470
I've come back to play gw2 after my break. since then I have had a pc upgrade and my game feels like its running very poorly, I'm getting low 30-50 fps when in some places, wvw is unplayable in a decent setting. ive been trying to farm my war claw mount and its just sad. what setting do people play with? ive read the game is running off of DX9 but surely that can't be true. my rig. theSacred.1942
Yep, it's modified GW1 engine that use DX9. Saddest part is ANet is not saying anything about moving to Vulkan API or even any performance updates. Your best chance to get more fps is setting character model limit to lowest possible (medium in WvW) and character model quality to lowest. XenoSpyro.1780
Grab the Direct3D 12 wrapper. Google will give you the Reddit topic as the first result which will lead you to Github links.

Looks like it works from the video I watched
