Profession mechanic [suggestion]

Have more than one profession mechanic avalable to change to at anytime with cool downs if needed. Example: A player has three profession mechanics that are available to them to be chosen or tabbed through; if one is on cool-down then it is skipped.

Make build templates changeable during battles, with cool-downs.

Please keep comments respectful. A note or thumbs-down may be given to those that aren't..

Why? What would be the motivation?

There's no thumbs down option, so sure go ahead and try it.

Also I don't exactly get what you mean, could you please elaborate on your idea?

Switching gear/build templates mid fight isn't necessary and would go against many pexisting systems. For example you can't change equipment, skills, traits during battle wich forces you to think ahead and make decissions based on what you will be facing next.

Thumbs down. Jk

Not necessary doesn't mean it's not preferable. Prexisting systems will be fine with it.

Builds for certain situations have been premade, they just need to be loaded. Leaving mid-battle to switch to them is not very ideal.>

No one knows.

Is the suggestion about changing build templates while in combat separate from the one about changing profession mechanics? Or not, since your profession mechanic is determined by the elite spec you have selected in your build?

Either way, this effectively gives you access to all skills at all times, providing you have enough build slots. So why not just actually give us access to all our skills at all times rather than having a limited skill bar? (I should hope the answer to that is obvious...) It would also give an advantage to players with more build slots, so is a form of pay to win as well.

You're going to have a hard time convincing anyone that this is a good idea if you can't explain why you think it should be implemented.

Motivation:

Each mechanic changes gameplay utility.

An elite mechanic could change to base mechanic if it is more useful for a boss battle or whatever the situation is.

Players would not be locked into one mechanic when using an elite spec.

Adds more flexibility to each E-spec.
