Chest of Exotic Equipment

Is there any logic on the choice or the armor stats are completely random?

 

Every time I choose elementalist I get some condi damage gear

 

Is there any class that gives me berserker?

It's random, choosing Elementalist just means that you won't get a weapon or armour that Elementalists can't use. That's base Elementalists, so you won't get warhorn or swords either.

The chest simply gives you exotic gear that can be equipped by the class in the name of the chest.

 

That means an Elementalist will only get light armor, staffs, scepters, foci, and daggers (and possibly tridents).

 

The stats are pulled from the list of base game stat combos, so it is totally random.

Sometimes they have nice Runes/Sigils, and if you are forging for Precursors you can use the weapons for that, but yeah, due to the random nature it is unlikely you will regularly get things you can directly use.
