Luupita.9482
My game error is: --> Crash <-- Exception: c0000409 App: Gw2-64.exe Pid: 11392 BaseAddr: 00007FF6505D0000 ProgramId: 101 Build: 100690 Module: d3d9.dll When: 2019-12-03T17:56:31Z 2019-12-04T03:56:31+10:00 Uptime: 0 days 0:00:20 Flags: 0 _ I don't have the usual culprits; Arcdps Reshade Rivatuner MSIAfterburner This has happened in the past but I somehow got past it and can't remember what I did(pretty sure it was another error then as well). I already tried repairing the game(obviously didn't work), and have sent multiple error reports due to this crash. If anyone has any advice that might fix this I would appreciate it since i haven't played in months and was looking to see the new changes. Nokomis.5076
Well d3d9.dll is not a standard file from Guild Wars 2, it is not placed from the installation or during patching. Delete it. So... basically you lied, because you must have something that affects the game. Maybe an unusual culprit?

Less specifically, it could be any overlay or anything involved with the graphics, including the graphics drivers. See the DLLList section in the crash log for more information on d3d9.dll and what other files are being used. > @"Nokomis.5076" said: > Well d3d9.dll is not a standard file from Guild Wars 2, it is not placed from the installation or during patching. Delete it. d3d9.dll is a system file found under c:\windows\system32. It's also the file people use to mod the game, but that isn't necessary to cause a crash like this. I've also had the game since it dropped so if I don't remember after all those years that I had something in there and deleted it a while later that's not my fault. I can only tell you that I have none of the files I mentioned not having. > @"Ayrilana.1396" said: > > @"Luupita.9482" said: > > > @"Inculpatus cedo.9234" said: > > > This is the issue: Module: d3d9.dll > > > > How does this information help me solve my game crash exactly? > > You delete or move it out of that folder. (Mirillis Action! - screen recording) This was the culprit! Thanks so much for suggesting this to me. It's the first time I've ever had a problem with running it and GW2 together since I've recorded PvP with it, but apparently there is a first time for everything. Inculpatus cedo.9234
That's not the same issue. You can try a -repair to the client. You can contact the Tech CS Team via the 'Support' link for assistance. Good luck.
