Exit to Desktop - freeze

almost everytime i hit "Exit to desktop" under escape, the game freezes while trying to close.

If closing it on another way (restart; task manager etc) the game keeps popping up an window recommending the Repair-function due to corrupted data.

 

Any fix for this?

I only can offer general advice: Be sure that your computer is in good and stable condition.

 

1. Check your disk for errors and reliability, if possible via a full-surface scan, then with a normal checkdisk.

2. Use system file checker to check your Windows system files for any corruption.

3. Test for memory (RAM) errors.

4. Update your graphics drivers if not done already.
