SoulGuardian.6203
Just an idea that uses already existing elements in the game, but adds to all previous maps, including core. It consists in making each map's dominant wild creature into a champion and legendary monster that can either just roam around an area, and once defeated, could spawn again after a certain time. For instance, Queensdale could have a massive champion drake in a certain area. A slayer list of monsters would be added to towns, and could also be made into a collection. Completing the collection would give you a title of monster slayer and give you an ascended weapon or maybe even legendary. Monsters would be more difficult to beat as you go to higher tiers in higher level areas, for instance having to beat a legendary ember in fireheart rise, or a legendary karka in southsun cove. I think this would bring the players back together. It would be a fun thing to do and achieve... and it could only do the game good. As I mentioned, all the elements are already there. Only tiny bits of code and tweaks would be required. What do you think?
Randulf.7614
Similar to the blood crazed system? I'm not against it, but I would think it would need a reason in game to exist. I'd also keep it out of starter zones
Eloc Freidon.5692
Imagine if they added a hunt feature for squads (or guilds) that you can set the scaling based on how many players you want to set it to. And make the hunted creature move from spot to spot during a fight, getting into areas recently accessible thanks to mounts.
MikeG.6389
It sounds awfully similar to bounties. Sure, why not. Starting areas used to have champions, anyway. And the trains that followed them... were the reason they were subsequently removed.
