Underwater conversion - Jaunt

I'd like to see Jaunt be made to work underwater in a simple way - blink 450 units (or whatever range jaunt hopefully gets buffed to in the near future, ideally 600) forward in the direction your character is facing.

 

So essentially just a max range jaunt underwater.

 

Would be nice to at least have the option and it would be very useable even if not being able to ground target as on land.

I don't really like the idea, especially since it's hard to judge distance and AOE without range indicators in three dimensional space. At higher maximum range, you're more likely to teleport past your intended target (assuming you're using Jaunt for damage as you would on land).

I rarely use jaunt for damage outside of pve - it's more useful for repositioning and the additional condi cleanse.

 

Underwater as a 450 range blink forward it would be amazing untargeted mobility on top of what spear already offers and provide another source of condition cleanse.

 

This would be useful in the (small amount of) water on alpine BL among other things.

 

Personally I think I'd get used to judging the distance pretty fast especially if it stays below 500 range - not difficult to rotate character or press forward in direction you want then hit jaunt.
