I've said it before and it worth repeating. ANET has abandoned alliances. They just haven't got the fortitude to be upfront with us about it.

I wish Anet hadn't wasted time with this change.

I'm also saddened that they force feed these options on us. Leave the prior methods alone and offer this new way as an option.

Give us a way to hide, remove or disable the compact option.

These programs are faulty and do generate false positives aside from being intrusive and not resource friendly.

While I don't want cheaters or bots running rampant, I'd rather deal with them than hose a legitimate player.

I would rather they spend their money and resources elsewhere (ALLIANCES!)

Other than that, as long as they keep "it starts with 'run for it' and generally goes downhill from there" I won't lose sleep over any story changes.

There are a flood of bots in pvp, no reason they won't pour into wvw either. Anet can't be bothered with them.

The OPs suggestions are not something I'd like to see changed in the game mode. Large guilds and us roamers (we roamers?) would be alienated by these changes.

With the exception of two wvw titles (Ultimate Dominator and Diamond Legend) there is nothing in GW2 that even approaches grindy.

I've never ben a fan of fractals. Nothing in this one has changed my mind. Those that like it, have fun.

Anet could make a fortune with a gem store item that does a "skip what I don't like" for map completion. Hearts for some, vistas for others, POIs for a few I'm sure and think of the cash that would pour in for the gift of battle from folks who don't like WvW. Didn't they already do something like that for waypoints, time to go the rest of the way.

WvW players are a hearty lot. We've begged and pleaded and, at best, we get tossed a crumb once in awhile. Some may have given up, but I firmly believe that Anet will deliver us another crumb in the coming years!

She shuffled off with the Omecrawhatevertheirnamewas. I miss the old voice actress for Rox. One of the better ones they had.

I was in the right place. After waiting another half hour I went back. This time the statue was fully there - not just the feet. I'm not sure what is going on - at least nothing in the map is telling me what it is.

Doing Juggernaut I and the step to ponder at the statue. Ponder didn't work - the statue is just a pair of feet right now. I don't see any events to repair the thing after half an hour looking around.

15K hours and one pre a few years back. Thank-you dragonbrand platinum scout in SMC.

Their are several people in wvw regularly. They just don't often use their Anet tag.

They've shuffled us off to this little corner of the forum. We can spout off (within reason) and they just let it go in to the circular file. Enjoy it as best you can for this (aside from the occasional bug fix) is all wvw is going to be.

For years the standard answer is "No, I killed hundreds of thousands all by myself!" No matter what the math looked like.

If our opinions matter, mine is that Anet not waste any time adding pvp to pve. Spend it getting alliances done for wvw.

They should just everyone the AP points from EOTM and delete it.

Of course it shouldn't be banned. Find groups that play the way you want to play content. Don't expect them to conform to your way of playing. Goes for both the DPS elitist and the ones who don't give a fluff about it.

They buy the game. Their choice. The 'I know whats best for them' approach is good for children and pets, but not for gaming. The worst part of this game was in the beginning, getting my hero leveled up so I could have decent gear to have the games real fun in WvW. Sitting around doing hearts and that k train zerging in Orr just about had me quit all those years ago. I don't want anyone to go through that if they don't want to.

People tend to wander off into strange things when they're being bored to death.

Your premise is flawed and inaccurate, but the suggestion is worth exploring.
