Personally it feels less bunkery that HoT. Only power builds I see working is spellbreaker, shatter mesmer, sw/d thief, lb ranger. Basically, if it doesnt got burst it isnt gonna do much

  2. D/D Core

    http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PGgAgilZw4YesNGKO+SXrNA-zZgOjIVA5LBM7A

    Focus on building might-stacks.

    Glyph Support

    http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PGQAYlJwmYUsQGJWMTXtdA-z5AfGZqA6VCYzB

Use GoEP while overload air for 25 vuln stacks on enemy team.

Use glyph of storms in earth for enemy damage denial, or water for freeze.

    Opportunist Weaver

    http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PGgAwilJwmYQsImJWuSavVA-z5IeGZKBKYBYiB

35% damage increase to foes below 50% health. Build around +1ing fights using quantum strike for alot of damage. Focus on single attuning and creating space between enemies until you are ready to burst. Use GoEP in air while using quantum strike.

    Might-share Support

    http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PGgEsEWmAbitwcYlY5Kp1uB-z5AXGZWAlmAyOA

Use heal in fire stance then heat-sync to share 14 might stacks. Blast wildfire with dragons tooth and pheonix

  3. All the skills going forward is because staff is a wvw weapon.

Interesting ideas and I can tell a lot of effort was put in.

    Things that I would consider.

Burning retreat doesn't need 2 charges.

The gust changes alone would improve map mobility and I like the idea.

Chill field does not need charges Ice spike changes are fine.

Earth melee auto is a fantastic idea. It doesn't need to provide additional damage from allies. It would just need to do like 2s of weakness every 3rd auto and its be fine.

Transmute earth. Dont like it. Why should it be better than other auras?

Shockwave. Be better to make it a ranged aoe but yeah I'm picking up what you're throwing down.

    Good job op

  4. If they really want trapper builds to work they need to do a few things.

First remove the damage and condition duration from Light on your Feet.

Second change it so projectile finisher chance is doubled.

Third, give posion volley a projectile finisher chance like sevenshot.

Forth, give them all a flat 20s cd.

Fifth, better power scaling in viper and flame trap.

    That's is all ty

    > Fire weaver still has a ton of access to burn. You just won't be able to cc then chain 10 burn stacks on someone for 5 seconds. Considering current weaver easily maintains 25 stacks of might and gale is a 3s knockdown, you can do 17k damage at 10 stacks of burn over 3s. Now assuming you average 15 might stacks and you can only apply

    > 10 burns at best for 2s your looking at about 8k damage. Let's just assume that most burns will be 1s and you can only stack about 5 at a time. That's closer to 2k burning in 1 second which is still a fair amount of damage.

Disregard I'm an idiot and assumed this was in a weaver post lol

  7. Sword autos can dish out decent damage with quickness and proper cc. Like 2-3k a crit in pvp. Problem with sword is it doesn't scale well with power. Damage is on par with thief sword damage though. Also thing about ranger is it's designed to be good at 1v1 and not so much in teamfights. Sword is a viable dueling or side node option. Obv you will have a tough time vs reapers and dh. If you want ppl to be annoyed just make a immobilize spam build.

I think this update maybe the death of support ele.

    >

    > Tempest wasnt that good of a support to begin with. However, water/earth/tempest (vs power) and water/fire/tempest (vs condi) with d/f might get more popularity since it has decent aoe damage reduction (a lot of prot and frost aura in earth/water) / condi cleanse (from fire and water traits) and it received just a few minor nerfs to non-heal support stuff. Nothing will still be able to compare to fb due to massive utility it brings though.

Yeah hard to say what builds will be good. I've got like 5 I wanna test on ele alone lol

  9. The main problem with sword in pvp is you cant chain dodges that well with it. The damage is too low to warrant going in melee range in a team fight.

Give Hornets sting a 3/4 s evade frame and lower its CD to 10 and maybe it would be worth picking up

  10. http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PGgEsEWmAbiRxaYl4IvY22B-z5YXGRmAZWAOMA

Try this. Stupid amounts of blind.

1v1 pop glyph of elemental power while overloading air for a free 25 vulnerability stacks and follow up with Phoenix.

Overload often. Rarely need to overload fire. Team fights pop sandstorm for pulsing blind on the entire nose. Follow up with an earth overload.

3 magnetic auras in this build so range should be a problem.

You could swap aftershock with anything it's not needed.

Glyph elite is probably better since water elemental heal is absurdly strong. It can also be used vs thieves as a meat shield
