  1. 2 warscore per kill. Technically, it does matter. As far as spirit of competition goes, I guess some of us are playing a real estate acquisition game?
  2. I'm really impressed nobody brought up the aussie swarm yet Or did i ruin it -_-
  3. Oh hey, one of those guys that hasn't noticed tier placement is a body tally yet.

Are you saying when you played RPG's, even P&P RPGs ... you PAID your DM? We didn't ... no one else I know did. Anet shouldn't either. And I pointed out theyve already paid people to play, just only in sPvP. Lets chase each others tail more. Edit: Hobby shop guy definately got paid. A bag full of dice didnt come cheap xD
  5. Necroed from november, which was necroed from 2018. Impressive

It's not as far fetched as you imply. They've paid "narrative directors" to make that bland swill called living story, why not have some tour guides on staff for the types that need a momma tag? I'd say Indo _easily_ draws more people in to the game than the balance lead has.

Game has been built on the same engine since launch, and had the same issues. Who's keeping new updates from making things worse however, changes frequently.

  12. > @"Obtena.7952" said: > Paying Anet for a service they provide isn't the same as making playing a game into a job where people get paid for their time. I don't have a problem with people tipping ... and that's the sentiment that should be encouraged here. Do people honestly think Anet paying people to play the game is an answer to whatever problem exists here? Those 2 are definitely influencer status, driving a lot of Anet's transfer revenue. ...And it's not as if they haven't paid people to play sPvP already, those guys didn't even bring in discernable revenue. I'm linked with Devonas Rest this month, BG's previous. It went from the largest link to _empty_ in the course of a week.
  13. > @"Obtena.7952" said: > Having to pay people to command would just be another reason NOT to play WvW (on the player side) or support it as a game mode (on Anet's side). A lot of people are paying Anet 8 bucks a relink to have a commander already.. Maybe Cookie and Indo _should_ get a slice

There is still a small part of me that would enjoy the chaos of flying mounts in WvW ? I'd be for it too.... If you could actually fight on the mounts. But that never seems to have been a consideration, a PvP mount you can PvP on.. How droll, right? Kinda like when they spent 2 years tweaking WvW maps for gliders (our "content addition" at the time), then left the skill bar empty -_- Just about selling skins, as if they couldn't have monitized AND made them real content.

  20. Best advice is not to take the word of posters on this forum, a lot of us are impressively clueless. Look for someone competent in your match, even an opponent, and message directly. Most people _love_ to talk about their builds and tactics.
  21. The game's still new, gotta give them some time to hit their stride.

Times have changed, seems like skilled players are consolidating into less guilds on less servers, hence creating this problem. When facing certain servers you are expected to fight multiple guilds running 25-30+ next to each other, which makes it even harder for you to compete as a small group. .... I've spent 7 years playing in what used to be called a "havoc squad" before they mostly went extinct. Adding more people just means there's fewer scenarios where you'll be challenged, or lose. The latter being the big sticking point for so many.
