I got my skyscale about 3 weeks ago and somebody said the shimmerwing skin was last there in november. (jeez, wtf?) I want to buy it. Pretty sure, that if somebody wants an item, they will buy it. even if its there forever lol

honestly kinda tired of seeing this topic pop up lol they havent changed the model for 6+years, there's no reason to change it now unless they really ARE losing profit. steam release in the future for new users will make buying gems easy.

The guild panel could be updated, without having to look in lfg or map chats. But as far as builds go, it really depends on the _kind of player playing the game_. You will have people like me who go the extra mile to look at metabattle.com and get ascended for fractals, and then you will have players like my BF who just dinks around in the game. I think it's more of an issue of **who cares enough** to look into builds.

Well honestly i can agree with the transmutation charges. ff14 lets you buy glamour prisms for free which do the same thing. I dont see why it has to be gated to daily login or map completion.

im also gonna say ranger, lol. i picked it initially because pet can revive you, but it feels super boring now ... and im not sure how any new elite specs would make it more fun. druid isnt meta in fractals anymore. merging with pet in soulbeast somehow feels like it does less damage..

i finished the skyscale after putting it off for a year... but otherwise i have gotten to the point of doing dailies and log off.

probably wont buy the outfits anymore.(because i tend to think they're shiny at first and then never use them).

For some reason the graphics in this game can have a **pixelated** look to them, and i am not running on low or anything. I have turned off depth blur as well. Not sure what the issue is.

the only ones i did are the ones that give masteries or a lot of points(jumping puzzles). other than that i just do the dailies. 10 AP adds up fast every day.

we were promised an epic storyline, which im not really getting. i love the maps..but everything else is just filler.

I think sometimes people post about living world in general discussion area. Also, forum numbers aren't a very reliable number of how many people play /any/ mode in the game. Honestly the 3 month updates were the only reason i kept logging back into the game.

No, and maybe its because im just that kind of lazy person. I never 100% any console games ive ever owned either. I just play for story, dailies, and then log off unless somebody wants to do something with me. I've played the game on and off since 2013 and really cant be bothered to get world completion.

I would like to counter your point that pve in ff14 is better.. For instanced content and savage raids, yea. But where ff14 loses the edge over gw2 is the open world maps. In ff14, There is NO reason to go back into the expansion maps once you've done the story. I like logging on to gw2 as an ALTERNATE type of gameplay. Gw2 has always been more of an open world, explore game, more than a high tier raiding game. I like flying more on GW2 since the maps have different levels of terrain, and all kinds of hidden spots that you can only get to behind a trained mastery. A map like verdant brink or tangled depths in ffxiv? you WONT find that lol. Also the fact that map level sync exists. That doesn't happen in ff14 meaning you can literally 1 shot level 60 monsters as a level 80 class. While i do absolutely love ff14, it lacks any reason to go out into the open world. That is where you can find value in the playstyle of GW2.

The stuff hits hard, and it does seem like if you get dismounted in a forged or branded area, its game over. This was pretty much the same in HoT. But despite this being the case, i never think the option is to literally make the game kitten. Maybe just reduce the aggro range like somebody else posted above.

I liked trahearne, and his voice actor. I did start out on a sylvari too, so i don't know if that made a difference. I kinda get tired of being the main hero in every mmo, but i didnt feel like he stole the glory in core game. It was more of teamwork to bring down zhaitan and help him with his mission to cleanse orr.
