My guess is they will come with a pretty original name that actually sounds good and not generic like anyone can guess. Honestly, the name I don't really care for, but the content.

Dragons are part of most cultures mythology, Ancient Greek and Roman (Typhon, Python, Lernaean Hydra, Cetus), Egyptian (Apep, Nehebkhau), Germanic/norse (Jormungandr, Fafnir, Nidhogg, Lagarfljotsormurinn), South Asian (Vritra, Visvarupa, Azhi Dahaka, Druk), Asian (Zhulong, Naga, Imugis, Orochi, Watatsumi, Mizuchi, Kuzuryu), Aztec (Quetzalcoatl, Xiuhcoatl), Mayan (Kukulkan, Q'uq'umatz) and most of them are elemental, water predominantly, fire and thunder.
Even the Bible has it's Hebrew dragons Leviathan, Yam, Lotan and ultimately Satan himself that is depicted as the ancient serpent/dragon, or in the folklore as a humanoid shaped dragon with horns, tail and sharp teeth. I find it interesting how GW2 Zaithan pronunciation resembles Satan, we know GW2 lore creatures are inspired from all cultures and mythologies.
So there you have it, no wonder why dragons are popular.

@"Julz.8517" I think you mean 1,000,000 coin.
1 silver = 100 copper, 10 silver = 1000 copper, 100 silver (1 gold) = 10,000 copper and so on.
Just FYI for others that are confused and don't know the concept.
Glad it all worked out.

Well, their appearance is human, yet the lore is not precise about them being one, yet the naked eye tells us they are. Humanoids and also humans. Quite a tricky.

You are truly talented, very well done! Chromatically delicious, my eyes just had a feast. Keep up the good work, I wish you luck with commissions!
Wonder if a norn will make it to the list lol.

This actually shed some light upon my knowledge of norn background. Thank you both Kulvar and Konig

No. Norn are humanoids.

My cat thinking its a great time to sit on my keyboard while doing meta events.

As a proud norn, and scandinavian IRL, I think we need more norse hairstyles and beards, inspired from viking ancestors, (Vikings tv show is a viable source) hairstyles and head tattoos that can go along very well, tougher facial features and more hairstyles for females.
I created a norn in hope that I will be delighted by it's norse/viking vibe, but not so much... a bit dissapointing.
Also the avatars on the forums for norn are a joke and almost nonexistent.

This is not viking or norn, this looks like a naked, furred collar, football player posing for Vogue Magazine. Not cool.
That is my plea,
Gundahar Frostborn, son of Thormund Deathstare.

^ The boss fight ref was actually funny.
Multiple tailed creatures in mythology. I'd prefer it a myth ingame too.
It's not because tails themselves are bad, but people going to weeb on them, so because of this, instead being neutral about tails, i'm against em.

^ Lol true. Indeed helpful. I want to add, there was this JP thats been fixed against gliding or shortcuting. Well, I found another shortcut and also with the help of a springer. Double trouble. Shall I spill the beans?

The story is ok, I dislike it here and there, but frankly its hard to find an MMO with good storyline. Tho, Canach, Rythlock, Bangar, I liked, don't remember the rest. What I find better than the story, is random dialogues between some certain ambient and quest NPCs, very amusing at times. The open world NPCs are very lively and well designed in that regard.
In the end, the quality of the story is somewhat subjective, if you like positive (Trahearne, Tybalt) or negative (Palawa Joko, Balthazar), witty (Taimi, Halvora) or badkitten (Bangar, Rythlock), silly (Taimi, Snargle Goldclaw) or bold (Valenze, Canach), its all up for the player to judge.
Have to say tho, the voice acting for charr is hands down the best I heard in any MMO.
PS: the races background stories are very lacking, as a norn I don't feel the viking vibe at all.

I won't say what is wrong with this reward and how it got handed out, theres already several topics about it, but thank you ANet for restoring our progress, and finally received my rewards too.
As a token of appreciation, here is a MYSTERY STEAM KEY for anyone that wants it (please confirm if you take it, so others won't bother trying)

I can't afford spening money on microtransactions in games, the income is pretty low where i live now. But i thank you and to people like you that buy stuff and help keep the game running.
-
I got all my progress restored, every bit of it! Thank you ANET for taking care of this in shorter time than i expected!

> This is super frustrating., I agree, Gundahar. And frustration is the very least thing a customer shoulfd feel about a product. This whole situation has been piling up over years, not just because of the Corona virus crisis. GW 2 has Performance issues since I started playing it in mid 2017. And from this day on we are told that thoroughly upgrading the engine "doesn't pay". That's quite something in the ears of a customer. "Doesn't pay".
> Perhaps what happened now is a bit of a wake up call for Anet to finally do something about the technical issues of the game. I somehow feel that what happened now is serious. Though that's just speculation my side.
Honestly, after reading all the topics about this issue, alot of people lost legendaries or gems, so my frustration basically faded, as it is undeserved. They lost way more than me. But nevertheless all of us spamming with such topics won't help some say, yet this is how protests take place. So yes, i think its not wrong to raise your voice. Theres alot of issues with the game, for years now, that haven't been adressed properly or at all.
Its just a game in the end, but a game where people invest money and time, and i speak this not in my name, but in the name of those that lost huge amounts of gold, gems or legendaries.
Meanwhile, i shall wait for aNet to adress and solve this. Theres still faith.

I am so frustrated about this. i lost skins, map completion, gold... i want everything back

Haha yes. Revenant is what it is, but a pure warrior with staff, just the idea, sounds ridiculous. My opinion tho.

Avatar is indeed more detailed, i like that, but the other one tho... the mantle/cape thing... just hits me in the right spot so to say. I personally think capes look great on a warrior, and GW2 kind of lacks in that aspect.
-
Yes, but only the avatar made it into GW2. I hope for the first Grenth's Regalia to make it too.
Will there ever be new additions to Core classes?

Classes? ANet covered most of the classes out there, unless you aim for a full healer or a full assassin with major debuffs and CC's.
New races on the other hand are always welcomed imo.
