  1. I dont care about rewards I care to play with a team of players that give their best even of its sometimes not enough to win. I'm enjoy ppk and fights like few others but you cant expect to win without ppt.

Since only WvW kept me into this game, yes any gems and expansions I bought were for WvW.

About my mental stability, yes you are right, that drives me crazy to see peoples asking to not win and doing their best to lose while we have a chance to win. That's why I stopped playing WvW. The game I enjoyed the most is ruined by careless peoples so I'm done until something happen to fix that losers mentality.

Boring? We dont have the same feeling about it. Any other NA servers are as challenging as them and challenge isnt boring, its absolutely exciting for me! You want to get better, fight the best not the worst! You'll lose, and lose, and lose until u get mad and find some solutions.

Dont try to fool me kids, your pale excuses doesnt hide the thruth, you need to grow some balls and fight with honor! For Ascalon! :p

Thx for the good laugh! Yeah I had an idea how fun it is in T2.. for BG :P

And yes many guilds in my team are tanking , and they did last week also but they failed to get us down in t2, all they did was to make sure we didnt win. You know when a tag invite any pugs he see and then doesnt respond to home bl and better like to recap a paper tower in ebg instead.. or when he spend an hour around a paper tower a get nothing done.. they arent even shamed about it, they ask for it in team chat!

  4. I'm a nomal person and like many others I play a competitive game with the hope to win. There is no other sane way to play a game in team than doing your best. Sadly some players are ruining my team anytime we have a chance to reach T1 (and even T2 sometimes). We actually have a team that could win (we are actually in t1 since 2 weeks) but obviously some guilds and players are tanking. This is so frustrating for those doing their best to make a good use of that rare opportunity to win in T1. I feel like the tankers are stealing my money and hard work to reach and win T1. So yeah, guess I'm done trying to win after this week. Bored to waste tactics, time and money in an insane game ruled by losers :(

Maps were much more challenging, you needed to build a strategy for whatever you had to do on a map. Open world is great but it reduce greatly the need of strategy. Maybe time for anet staff to use their imagination and to offer a second kind of pve, based on gw1. I dont need 50 pve maps, give me different style of pve instead so I can pick the one I like.

    >

    > Try raids they are like gw1 missions that needed strategy, if you want less of it start with strike missions.

Ty but I tried the 1st strike mission and if the others are comparable it wont do it. Really miss to build my hero team for a specific mission and being alone, in control of what is happening. I like to play with real players but mostly in pvp modes. Having a huge map for yourself or with a couple of friends was a total different feeling! So I'm not open world vs instance world(or private world), I'm asking for both. Diversity is so beautiful :)

I can only disagree. Lets say WvW isnt perfect and can be frustrating sometimes whatever if you are zerging, roaming etc but its a great game. After 40 years of gaming... I never played any game so involving and exciting!

JQ arena in gw1 was all about strategy, killing people and die didnt matter at all. I just hope that the next expansion will bring JQ back since the arena was in Cantha. I saw something on the forum about it but I dont know much yet.

  8. Except for some very annoying gimmicks like stealthing and immo, I felt like the game was well balanced lately. Rangers are a bit broken and engis could use some buff but beside them, most of my duels feels fair and fun whatever the class I'm dueling with my weaver. There is so many changes, I cant judge this new upcoming balance yet but its scary.

    > I love GW2 and finally after getting out of the military I am able to play again. One of my favorite professions was Elementalist for its quick switching of elements and fast playstyle. After suffering an injury overseas due to combat and having surgery on my forearms to repair my tendons. I can no longer play elementalist correctly like I used to, because my hands aren't nearly as fast as they once were. I'd love to play it again but have a specialization that rewards less element switching but maybe a stacking buff the longer your "camp" in it with a "big bang" skill or something after reaching certain stacks or however a mechanic can be made. I know this wouldn't be too spectacular for everyone to play, but its just a thought. Annnd I'd love a real GS spec. for elementalist xD. Thanks for reading o/

That was a sad story, I hope you'll find a way to enjoy gw2 again. I really liked your idea about a stacking buff over time that end up in a big bang skill! I see it in an arcane trait or a signet to make an easier access to it.

Haha, I'm a main ele (weaver), cant agree more with you! I raged quit WvW this morning because I'm bored to be ganked by thieves and other stealthers. So bored of it I'm downloading WoW atm! :expressionless:

Edit: ouch, WoW is so ugly, even gw1 was much nicer so forget about it! To Valhalla then, I'll give a try to Assassins creed :bleep_bloop:

    > If we're talking Ele, Weaver and Tempest are doing just fine across most game modes to be honest, in fact some would argue they have been over preforming (Tempest mostly). Now Core Ele is utter garbage and needs a some sort of rework in order to remain a viable alternative.. But considering how Ele is one of the most popular classes for players to pick (IE: new, F2P players) it makes sense they'd leave it crippled and useless for a reason to 'gentle encourage' players to upgrade to the elite specs via expansions. :expressionless:

Ok lets talk about weaver and tempest but in wvw mode (I cant talk about pve its not my thing at all). Tempest overloads can grant stability and weavers stances doesnt anymore, its a huge advantage for tempest specialisation. Weaver was great for about a year but few nerfs laters its probably better to go back to tempest d/d if u want to play melee style with an ele. I cant talk about core ele but they are like rare ambiant creatures in wvw! Core eles definitely need some buffs, its a pity how easy kills they are! :(

Sword and stances were the new toys to play with when weaver spec came out. It was then designed to be a melee figther. I'm still addict to my sword and few evade skills like Twist of Fate (a weaver stances). So I stayed weaver but tempest is probably a better choice if your not a stubborn sw/d weaver! Make my build great again, Yes U can!

    >

    > Encouraging people to play a class isn't a reason to buff it.

Haha yeah but eles still need some buffs! I played ele 9,2 k hours, very most of it roaming in wvw., guess I know a bit what I'm talking about for eles in wvw. Its not a coincidence if there is so few of us in wvw... There is some fun stuff about eles, sword dagger weaver is alot of fun but the weaknesses are awful. Range and cc's make it very annoying vs anyone good at staying at range. A better acces to stability and unblockable leaps are some of the buffs I particulary need to be competitive.

Its a 2013 video! It still interesting in some ways but need a serious update!

And I so agree that pulls are annoying stuff! Mostly since anet removed stability from my stances.. grrr!!

    > You people go "Rangers are Op" but only 1 out 10 commanders will take them into a zerg, the other 9 commanders tell the ranger to reroll? Yah we're going to dismount you, if we want to slow you down, to keep you from your target destination. Your the enemy. What? We're just supposed to wave at you as you pass by?

I saw some of our zergs being immobilized in a ranger "immo field" then range bombed, that was very effecient and scary! I think in sufficient numbers rangers could be a nice asset for any open minded commander.

  15. Possible solution:

My knowledge of computer is very basic but I had and solved a similar problem when I changed my cumputer last year. The download of gw2 was constantly stopping after few secondes. I tried every Arenanet suggestions to solve the problem and it never worked. Then I tried Avast cleanup premium and poof, every problems were solved. Avast cleanup shut down all unnecessary program that runs in background (STEAM, Microsoft Edge etc). I guessed there was some conflict between some programs and gw2 but that was just a guess! Still worthy to try the free trial if it still available. Got very few lag, disconnections and my internet goes much faster since.

  16. I just tried to see some comments on elementalists, checked on 5-6 pages and didnt see any!? Its about time ANET buff this class enough to encourage players to play it. 17. ELEMENTALIST: Weaver stances need to provide stability as they use to. I understand why they nerfed it. I was able to troll zergs with all the evades and dodges too easily. That was fun but lets admit it was wrong. Still, from 4 sec to 0 of stab was way too much for a nerf on a low hp class, especially for sword/dagger weavers who needs to stay close to their opponents. As condis an CC's rules WvW, having a poor acces to stab killed alot of the fun and we still see very few weavers (and eles) on the field.

If stances could provide at least a 2 sec of stab then I guess sword/dagger weavers could get some fun back.

I already tried my ranger and its not that new for me, went on it this morning, the easy damage is there for sure, no need of combo and blast to finally hit for 3k damage (with some luck), definitely easier. Try sword/dagger weaver then tell me ranger class isnt easy lol

Dismounted peoples on my feet 4-5 times, more in a day than in a year with my ele! Most of all, I'm hitting thieves and they cant run away so easily :bleep_bloop:

Well, you may have any good counter build and master it, a thief that smell the trouble can easily run away, most class cant run away so easily from a thief, not at all! Same vs rangers. I didnt really care when they were a few out there but these days, seriously, I must stop solo roaming in a ppt purpose because whatever map I roam I meet these 2 class of roamers so often its making the game boring. Hunting thieves will be much funnier!
