  1. For the love of the Great Alchemy, please not another melee weapon. I also agree with Kodama that we should get a dual-wield weapon to increase the combinations of weapon sets possible. I am currently working on a concept called the Tidesurge, which is thematically based on hydropower, tides, tropical storms, the Jade Sea, the Deep Sea Dragon (Selbbub), and the Aetherblade pirates. The Tidesurge would utilize ranged Dual-wield axes.

This gave me a good laugh. As an Engi main, I can't imagine the reaction of other players as they see a Sous-Chef Engi walk up to the Boss and start raining cakes and pastries to great effect (or more like terrible, knowing Anet's dislike for engi). I am not actually opposed to a fun, light-hearted e-spec but I hope its a 4th one rather than in the next expansion. > @"Headcase.4618" said: > 5. Elementalist/Spellslinger: Gains dual pistols and helm armor. This is a great idea. The concept of a spellslinger theme is really cool for Elementalist.
  3. Photon Forge is love, Photon Forge is life. Playing Holosmith revolves around rotating into and out of the Forge at the necessary times. The skills in forge are powerful, and trait synergies allow extra effects like condi cleanse or burning. The Sword + Pistol combo is a great choice as is the Rifle. Try to link the Exceed skills with heat management in fights because it can enhance your utility skills. Overall Holo is a fun spec that's easier than other Engi builds but just as powerful & rewarding. Good luck!

I mean that's less of an issue with Dreadnought and more of an issue of Scrapper. Scrapper is also useful in WvW. If Anet just rebalanced it, Scrapper will be fine. That being said the Dreadnought idea, while thematically appealing, leaves something to be desired when it comes to skills and how it is played. I agree with Kodama that Dreadnought seems to lean into upgrading all of what Engi is rather than carve out a niche for Engi and create a purpose for the mech suit.
  5. Uhh, Holosmith is obviously 3 onion fries lol. https://i.insider.com/5b2139715e48ec4b008b45ba?width=600&format=jpeg&auto=webp
  6. I love your golem designs! Especially the Dreadnought & the Annihilator. Fantastic work! =)
  7. Don't have the gold rn to request a commission but I just wanted to say your art is beautiful!
  8. It feels too much like a combo of Revenant and Elementalist thematically. Not a huge fan sorry.

Yeah besides Brawler for Engineer, these look cool. For Engineer I am creating a fan made suggestion called the Tidesurge which would give Engi dual wield axe like firefighters have axes.
