  1. Since build templates I'm experiencing lots of bugs with revenant utility skills.

First of all my utility skills get swapped to a "default" arrangement instead of staying in the order I set them. It happens with every legend currently.

This may be trivial, but the other bug is way stranger.

If I activate Glint facets and swap to another herald build that has glint on a different slot, facets consume energy even if I'm on Jalis or Shiro.

So this is the issue for me. Basically you can store from 3 to 6 sets ascended armor and get 0 used slots of inventory and 3-6 different sets with 3-6 different skins.

While if you spent a lot of time grinding for your legendary armor (just because of the easy access to different builds and more inventory space) you get the exact same QoL, but with **only 1 skin instead of 6**.

Not only that, but 1 piece of legendary gear costs from 10 to 20 times more compared to an ascended item, so you get more value for less.

This is absolutely insane. I could understand if at least the gear still took up inventory space, but with the fact that Equipment Templates are basically free storage, there is really no point in keeping the legendary armor.

  3. I don't understand 2 things

    1. Why would I ever pay for more template slots? I can simply export my build on a txt and have an infinite amount (sure, I can reach the limit of 1 copypaste per hour, but still I don't go around swapping among 300 builds every minute)

    2. Why did I make a legendary armor? It's way more convenient to have multiple ascended sets, you get more slot advantage and also different skins.

Legendary armors should be able to swap skin. Transmutation charges are a funny currency, I have like 300+ unused, and I waste a lot of them. Just make them included in legendary gear.

Yeah, that's not really the issue. I've done it once randomly and guildies can help a couple of times, but the drop rate is very low. Even when the event was successful, killing 5-6 champions, I got 0 drops.

To put it into perspective, I have the anomaly achievement, but I don't have the jade constructs one.

  5. Jade Core has a very low drop rate from Jade Champions in Bloodstone Fen. The map has a low number of players and the event is basically timed. If it doesn't fail (and it fails 50% of the time) the low drop rate makes it very hard to ger the Jade Core.

That's how it usually goes: https://imgur.com/a/GaPNyds

The event is every 60 minutes and bound to the map (so you can't evel leave it and return for the event).

Can we have a normal moster that drops the item or a 50-100% drop rate?

I don't really turn this into a debate. A moderator can delete this if it's out of place.

To me the collection is kind of fine. __They already addressed the timegating problem__, so the rest is just a very long collection, almost on par with Aurora.

And it would be also very unfair to change the requirements at this point that so many players have finished it.

The problem is that Aurora is a legendary item. The Skyscale doesn't feel like a Legendary mount at the moment. It has some serious limitations (such as full red gauge after Air Rescue, very slow speed, very short travel distance, engage skill very difficult to aim properly from air) that make it basically a show off mount (3-5 skyscales always hovering next to bank in LA) until they release skins (that will basically be required to show off). Very unusual to put skins on legendary weapons.

I'd be happy if they make the Skyscale proportional to its collection. In comparison the Griffon is awesome and requires far less. It has been almost hidden in its initial release, but it's a joy to use and is probably the most useful mount even now.

To add a question and avoid making this (only) a reply: **is it so bad that the Skyscale replaces the Springer?**

The Springer is mandatory to complete the Skyscale, so it's just progression, such as an exotic weapon replaced by an ascended one. After all I already don't use the Raptor since the Jackal is way faster on most terrains (and with Bonds can also jump greater distances). And if I need speed on flat terrains the RB is already the best option. So, again, why is it fine to relegate the Raptor to a somewhat useful engage skill mount and it's not right to replace the Springer (that has probably one of the best engage skills in the game already)?

Good luck with the Guild Chat!

Told you at the first page. The grab doesn't solve anything except very narrow situations. If you're far from the top and you go red you're basically done.

Red flight gauge is a **very hard punish**.

Again, I need to bump this: why the hell do we start full red in flight meter from a branded tornado or an upwards ley line after using Air Rescue?

It really bothers me. An empty gauge ok, but red goes down FAST. I'd be better just gliding at that point, or use the Griffon.

It felt horrible the first time. You spend 9 days farming to get this dude, and poossibly a couple of extra hours unlocking all the masteries.

It's an anomaly for now on the Wiki https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Skyscale#Movement.2FControls

And is it me or fire attack is very hard to target if you're not on the ground? Is this mount supposed to be used from the ground?

  8. Hi. Thank you for your hard work and thanks for Dragonfall, it's a very cool map. And congratulations for ending season 4.

    My question is:

    > Why does the skyscale start with negative (red) flight meter when using Air Rescue from an upward Ley Line or a Branded Tornado?

    > An empty flight meter would be ok, I don't understand why it can go full red and go down faster than gliding and Griffon.

And, if I may, I bring this from another thread:

    > Is it me or fire attack is very hard to target if you're not on the ground? Is this mount supposed to be used from the ground? Or land before attacking? A target indicator while pressing 1 would be great.

In general, giving the difficulty of its acquisition, the Skyscale should feel almost legendary. At the moment some things are great, others not so much.

Ah I see. It's even a bigger problem. I could understand starting with an empty meter (it's basically equel to gliding), but why fully red?

It makes no sense. Like they never even tested it in Dragonfall meta.

    > > What? Really?

    >

    > This also happens if you fly with the Griffon

What do you mean? The griffon has no flight meter or max altitude. If you hop on Griffon after an ascending ley line or tornado you keep fplying in a perfectly normal way.

To me this is kind of unacceptable. It means you can't combine gliding masteries with skyscale.

  11. The problem with the fire breath is that it's designed to be used comfortably from land. But in normal gameplay we are always going to be above the monster with a Skyscale.

It's very hard to target the actual monster, so instead we have to aim at a non-existant target. It should at least get a preview ring, or **simply attack in front of the player considering the angle.**.

    There is also another issue.

If you mount the skyscale with Air Rescue after using a branded tornado or a ley line that points upwards (like the ones in Dragonfall dutring the meta) **you'll start with a full red flight meter, and lose altitude very fast.**
