    >

    > That's it? I've actually done testing with the two and I found that while p/p can maintain damage over time better than Rifle, Rifle has the much better burst. Within a few seconds I have managed to pump out at least a 30k burst with the Rifle, using a highly buffed auto that would crit 3-5k on average after I burned my initiative on 3 DJs, which would again crit 10k+ each. Meanwhile, p/p takes about 4-6 unloads before it hits that amount of damage. And I used the same build I have now for both. So I do not really understand the issue.

Do you count the time it takes to load malice for your "3 DJs" or are you one of those "I'll just take the perfect setup and count my DPS froooom NOW-till-NOW!". Because if you count the malice charge up and 'p/p maintains dmg better', then I'm not sure about your claims.

Fortunately he breaks super easy during the second-second and a half he is vulnerable (during the leap attack that precedes the life drain), just have a pistol in your off hand and tap 4 when his defiance bar changes from stripey invulnerable to blue vulnerable. He will get dazed and reset his attack cycle once he comes out of stun, i think he got to that stage in the cycle four times when i fought him. Then he died.

Are you guys really talking about the eater of souls in the mission where you're supposed to come back to life? There was nothing challenging about that, I came in 'blindly' unprepaired, noticed that he uses "jump into tons-of-dmg-drain" so all I did was dodge/run back for a short time after he used the jump. That's all, other than that I was just typically running around him and spamming 1. REALLY simple pattern with one threatening attack, REALLY easy solution. I don't get where the problem was?

I've not had a problem with any of the aforementioned complaints you've had in PvP outside of how clunky the spec currently is.

Then you have to find a nice elevated spot so when you are drawing attention your enemy can't charge at you directly. Then you have to figure out who has to die first if there happens to be multiple targets. You also have to be ready to switch targets if one starts charging you. Finally, you have to know how, when and where to bail if someone does reach you, because again if you engage up close you will probably die. There is just way more planning involved in playing Deadeye than core or Daredevil thief.

    > >

    > > It's basic PvP thinking. Reduce the amount of damage they can do as quickly as possible.

    > That applies to everyone, not just the DE.

Except it's easier to do on an incredibly mobile DD. Both engaging and disengaging is easier on DD, so automatically you need to be better on DE to be able to survive. So what exactly is your point here?

  4. Summoning undead as a necro (you understand what "NECROMANCER" is, right?) or ELEMENTALS as ELEMENTALIST is a no brainer. Having a hawk or similar animal companions is assigned (rightfully) to ranger and it should stay this way. Thief -including deadeye- doesn't need any summon.

    > The point of "unknown bug" is that, you know, it can result in quite unspecified behaviour. And some bugs can't be caught before its too late. Anyone who ever shipped software knows that. No matter how much precautions and tests you do, its still not the real thing. Thats why space rockets explode on start and why MMOs have issues with new content. At least this is not like Diablo's fiasco, where the company simply didn't have enough servers to hold all the players (even though they knew the counts).

I can play anything from the pof content, but magically during peek hours the 'instancecreate failed' error comes back even in places I already visited before. Meanwhile NA servers on the same build don't get the same problem. "Conspiracy theory", right.

And this is nowhere near the 'space rockets exploding' nor is the reason for that which is pretty clear in this case, so try getting better examples next time if you try to appear like you know what you're talking about.

And what do you mean "nowhere near Diablo"? That's actually pretty close to that, but for some reason you can't comprehend that.

Are you literally stupid? Here's my post from yesterday (and I couldn't get in the PoF maps since the release!):

    > No, it doesn't. The only thing it (the fact that a "single" person got in) proves is that it's pretty much not a bug, but some kind of sh%ttyservers issue or a set limit to creating instances within new zones. So when the zones are full, it pops out an ""error"" that it failed to create the new instance (because they're capped for some reason?) and when it lets you through to the loading screen, someone with better hardware/connection gets in before you, which causes you to get stuck in loading screen and then disconnects you, because the space is taken again.

It's 3:10 right now, we had no patches, no "quick fixes", no emergency updates or anything AND MAGICALLY I CAN NOW GET INTO POF MAPS!!!!!1 Do you still blindly (and stupidly) believe it's a "random unknown bug"? It's obviously not the case. I was right. Meanwhile NA had hardly ANY problems, hows that possible when most people use similar specs with the same build? You really think all those dcs and (WHAT LITERALLY WAS TOLD TO YOU BY THE ERROR MSG) "failed instance creations" are accidents? Let me ask you again, are you stupid? What else do you want me to tell you? They had beta tests, they had the time to release. Their servers (for EU) are shit because they don't care. THEY CAN AFFORD THE UPGRADES BUT THEY DON'T CARE. Do you understand why some people THAT PAID FOR THE CONTENT are pissed off? I bet your god damn ass that I won't be able to get into PoF maps in about 10 hours. Why? Because an uknown bug? No. Because they CONCIOUSLY limited instances that can be created for PoF maps. THAT'S what's not ok. Not bugs, not unknown/unexplained issues. But treating EU server as second category players. If you're ok with that, it's your problem. This is not ok and we shouldn't make excuses for them during such events. They're not new to maintaining MMORPGs, they KNOW what they're doing and I'm honestly SICK of people like you that try to justify it in one or another way.

    > guys I ABANDONED the Story quest and picked it up again and my problem was fixed! i managed to get in and the quests done!!!

My guess is that the ABANDONING the story quest didn't help you, what helped was that you entered at 3 AM, when people already said "fck it" and went to sleep. Currently people STILL keep having the same problem, so I'll go ahead and say they didn't fix sh!t, but instead they're just waiting for servers to be less crowded. This is disgusting, even moreso because as you can see the problem exists mainly (only?) on the EU servers. We're the second category players.

    1. EU

    2. Nope, if it actually lets me through to loading screen without receiving the error, it loads for a few minutes and then tells me I'm disconnected and kicks me back to character selection screen.

  10. Same here, except I got though the first instance's dialogue (in Lion's arch) and when I try to enter Crystal Desert (airship in LA), I keep getting instancecreate failed error. And when I occasionally don't get it, then I'm stuck in a loading screen and after few minutes it tells me I'm disconnected and kicks me out to character select screen.
