  1. I guess the new update required everyone to be logged off.
  2. > @"Jilora.9524" said: > Sounds like lag or desynch more then a bug. I only can relate to this in WvW on the rare occasion I chase someone and have this happen and sometimes they are sitting on their mount like a echo but the aren't really there because they lagged off or were d/c as I was chasing them. I've seen that escorting dolyaks in WvW. This was nothing like that. I couldn't get one hit from the moment I opened the chest. I believe the skritt won't drop any lost loot unless it gets hit. I wasn't experiencing any lag before or after on the same map.
  3. I did notice that veterans are take longer to kill with the DPS on my ranger in PoF. But I find getting hero and mastery points were much easier to solo than in HoT(before there were mounts). But daily trains took care of that. The added challenge forced me to rethink my builds and gameplay.
  4. Have any of you checked to see if the appropriate glyph is installed and it is not installed on an expendable tool by mistake. It's not hard to loose track of glyphs now that they can be used on any harvesting tool. Tools will just harvest with no glyph installed. Even the infinite tools

I just take it for granted that the server will kick you if the trade is invalid. Instead of wasting time sending an explanation the server kicks you and goes on to the next trader. I just try again until the trade goes through. Look at as a Jeopardy contestant pushbutton. Some trader around the world is bound to push it before you do.

At least that's been my experience all of these years. Or at least relocate the default window position to a higher spot. Those with a 16:9 aspect ratio wide screen monitors will experience a cut off pet selection window if the pet management window is not moved up from the default position.
  7. You will get this error if you wait too long before accepting the trade. This is because the price has already changed. Try again and be as swift as you can as prices are always changing during heavy trading.
  8. > @"bucolicat.6182" This is an old post. Is your problem solved?

  10. Uptime: 1 days 6:10:32 and nonstop crashing just don't look right. Have tried rebooting?
  11. For trouble shooting purposes. Try using the built-in Intel graphics by moving your monitor cable to the motherboard's DVI or HDMI port(if you have one).
  12. > @"inuraichi.6178" said: It's hard to believe you have one year old drivers. GeForce Experience updates my drivers every couple of months for new games etc. Plug your monitor into your MB's Intel graphics port for the time being and see what happens. Try the GW2 display settings in the best performance mode for a while. Shipping may loosen some connections. Push each plug in its socket. Reseat ram and any cards. New computers may need a little time to breakin.

I'm sure the developers can make an exception with glyphs if there is a glyph is already applied. Removing glyphs should be treated as an extraction, not a drop from a chest. It's odd to hear my Norn say "this should fetch a nice price" on account bound items.

They could use the same buffer that temporarily holds an item when all bags are full. I haven't tried swapping gear from templates with a full inventory yet.
  15. > @"Sobx.1758" said: Might be some miscommunication then? > Example: you equip "weapon A" from any slot in your inventory, which causes your current "weapon B" to unequip and go into the exact same slot "weapon A" was previously in. Same goes for armor. Is this not what you're talking about? Apparently things changed since templates were introduced. Weapons and armor will swap the way I like. but not glyphs. Unequipping ascended gear should default to bags that are invisible to vendors even though they can be sold. Exotic bags that trap exotic gear should include higher tier items too. Presently glyphs are treated like low tier drops. I'm going to rephrase my suggestion to be more accurate.
  16. > @"Sobx.1758" said: >> ...but it already works like that? No it does not. Not in all cases.
  17. Stocking up on Bowl of Sweet and Spicy Butternut Squash Soup buffs could make up for the lack of a rune.
  18. When equipping an glyph, please put the unequipped glyph into the same bag slot as the equipped glyph came from instead treating the unequipped glyph as a drop. This includes the shared slots. Being able to swap glyphs from a shared slot would be a nice feature. Make it an option for those who don't like the idea.
  19. I don't particularly care for melee builds. I keep going back to axe/LB builds. I like warhorn because if I can get close enough to those with melee builds, I can put them in "godmode" with Call of the Wild which in effect makes my dps appear to be high. What I would give for rangers to have a mix of renegade shortbow skills.
  20. I bind my 4 most used mounts to the colored buttons on my game pad.
  21. What I don't get is the way armor damage is handled. They did away with it in WvW. Why not for the whole game. Or at least make armor wear and tear more realistic. Why wait until 7 pieces of armor get damaged before armor gets broke to where stats get removed. Stats should start diminishing with the first damaged piece.

There is precedent for this with Griffonrook Run. I'm sure it would not matter much for someone who makes lots of gold in game, but that someone is not me, so even this small thing would be a great reduction in frustration. > > And, you know, some compensation for stealing those traits. ;) Have you tried using the Prototype Position Rewinder? If you are fast enough, you can break a fall by rewinding. Use Mark location often and you may never have to start the puzzle from the beginning again.
