What things makes worse is cFB main cc is ax on which ax 3 is buggy since they nerfed it. In general me and our members(+ allied members) have the feeling the responsible developers looking just for a quick fix without thinking about the consequences ... which are a lot nicer words then they used.

    >

    > But really back when chrono could stack boons into the minutes they didn't change the mistlocks or something like that they went for the easy solution and nerfed the SoI into the ground. It an ironie that they finally done what needs to be done in 100 cm only to do something similar again . Don't get me wrong it okay when they remove the consumable but then they need also lower the cc bar.

Maybe stop using condi fb and use a condi with cc , condi fb isnt that good its ireplaceable

    > Honestly I don't see the point in these discussions anymore. It is abundantly clear that they have no intention of re-instituting KP. It has never been compatible with their stance on "accessibility", and any feedback, no matter however logical or reasonable will not change their minds. People who want to clear fractals in a way that requires more competence than your average title only group need to bite the bullet and move to killproof.me. You can't fake KP there and it's more resistant to any changes Anet makes in the future. If it becomes mainstream it would only be a matter of time until someone makes a simple overlay that takes the inconvenience of using the site out of the picture.

Or anet blocks api from that site as anet dont want any kill proofs

    > Raid launch sucked the life out of GW2 for me. I really tried with the first raid, we bashed our heads into it and just bounced off. Almost daily three hours of wipes getting nowhere, no one having any fun, no one getting anything out of it but pure misery. Could not get anywhere with it, only maybe 1% of any of my 5 guilds were precision/twitch skilled meta build players, and even if you got all them together it was still just endless misery of dying over and over and over and over to cheap one shots and way too short enrages. So quite rapidly all my friends, all my family, and all my guilds just evaporated from the game. This also correlated with a heavy drop off in game population as a whole. WvW died, PvP queues died, map meta groups disappeared, the entire game died. The current raid design is what hurt Anet as a company above all. It was the worst decision they ever made and we're still here all these years later begging them to fix it.

    >

    > It doesn't matter if you think the raids are hard or easy, it means absolutely nothing to anyone but you. The raids should be accessible to the majority of players in some way in a game like this, especially with our limited content development. If they had launched raids with the same mentality that they launched fractals, GW2 may well have never suffered the mass die off of population. I just can't understand why it is still so broken today. No one can use the raids at all, I don't know a single person who has cleared a raid in years, and I associate with a huge amount of people in this game. They just serve no purpose in this state. In August my main WvW guild tried the first raid and it was so horrible and miserable that they argued about it for weeks. You can't get away from how disgusting they are. And the worst part about it all is, there is so much there for us. It's so close but totally unreachable. I would give anything to have access to these instances as fun farmable pug-able areas with enticing rewards. They could be populated 24/7 drawing people into the game with 1 day of work. That would also familiarize people with them and push more people upward through the ranks into the crushing miserable 1 shot and enrage timer sweaty meta garbage that the 42 people still playing raids love.

Fractals is still a minority they shouldnt had made mechanics to begin with more ppl would do raids if it was a 10ppl world boss like jungle wurm instead of forcing difficulty on a game made to be easy even dungeons had limited players as you need to prove ap and not play ranger or necro before hot. But issue is majority just dont want the advance mechs. But i wouldnt want them to be nerfed as unlike other games with raids who you must raid to get gear for the next set of content but more of a side content

  4. Main reason raids have a low player count is due to most players dont like difficult or advanced content they play to relax and fun not to mash keyboard specific ways to make numbers. Raids were never made to appeal to many for they are sadly failed content. Its more of a qol function to keep the few ppl who like difficulty or challenging conteny playing. I am all for a spectator mode for raids as it could help more directly to learn mechanics

  5. Jormag is actually one of few who dont corrupt the unwilling directly but only if they so wish its shown most of jormags minions can ignore obeying like the sons of svanir who tried to prevent us to go to bjora so jormag directly contacted us in guise of allmora . Jormags nature is not destruction but i have noticed jormag seems to have a need to speak with others while primordious dislike life and wants all things to burn. Also jormag dont seem to display same hunger as other elders as jormag did not eat the mists then passing through and is placed rather far from large nexuses of magic. The servants can use magic given to corrupt unwilling but this could be the power they demanded from jormag it also seem the sons even icebrooded ones dont always obey. But jormag seems to have a twist of irony then giving gifts as the gift given isnt always what the reciever thought like bangar wanted to be champion of jormag he got that. I also suspect ryland had made a deal previously unknown to bangar as ryland did not hear whispers

In contrast to a video of a raid you can move around to view things as you like. Or you could call it cameraman mode so you could capture things from the best vantage points and make a cool video. Consent of the party would be required of course.

Basicly spectator mode this i can get behind as it could help players learn aswell give story

    > I don't see any realiation between dps and gear. Why we talk about gear only from side? may be time make toughness more valuable, hp value,. also concentration for boon duration to keep protection and some resistance ?? I see many legendary dps classes wiht 5k dps. This is ok. This is also one of part why we like GuildWars2

    >

    > > So again, in short: you reduce the risk to your group by running more tanky. That is literally what I said. The fact this is possible to begin with is just what I said: removing a timer allows for cheesing the content.

    > no, it kill content, and make meta class domination

    >

    > > I am not mixing anything. I refereed to 2 ways which can allow players to do boss fight in UNINTENDED ways. Out-tanking is one, out dpsing and skipping is another. In both cases, different approaches result in the same goal: making content easier. In one case this is gear dependent, in the other performance and player skill.

    > as for me gear dependent is fair way also. if we not have success time end timer.

    >

    > > I'm saying: removing the timers allows players to IGNORE all mechanics which are not instant death because they simply out heal them.

    > in current raid, how they looks, how looks boses, without mechanic success timer (if squad survive some time - boss dead) - this is OK. Players should ignore mechanic, if properly geared. And it OK, if one druid solo kill ANY boss per some long time in ANY CM raid mode.

    >

    >

If you run nomad gear for example the boss could take 20 to 30 mins if timer was removed and no enrage then ppl could just bring 10 minion mancher necros and let minions do the job while they watch neftflix. Gear does matter you think not of the stat on gear but on its rarity, nomad has next to no dmg stat just healing tough and vit. Dps is a mechanic you want raids to mostly work as a world boss for 10 ppl. Ppl dont play 10 dps but maybe 6-or 5 dps 1 chrono in toughness gear 1-2healers and alacren. Toughness mostly affect aggro it dont reduce that much dmg

    >

    > True. I would say that, at least, being dependant on combo and combo finishers in the early days of the game was a better design than having boons so readily available like they are right now.

    >

    > > 5. Conditions need to be reworked as well; there is far to much application availability

    >

    > Well, that's an arguable point. It's true for debilitating conditions, but not necessarily true for damaging conditions. I would say that the main issue with conditions is more that they aren't as effectives against AI than they are against players and this imbalance between gamemodes ultimatly hurt the balance of the game as a whole.

Removal of concentration and boon duration and tie boons exclusive to blasting fields and tie condis to projectile and finishers and healing to swirl would fix alot

  9. The issue isnt that chrono who barly can share any boons anymore or fb who can boonball to 5 ppl or alac who can perma alac and also mighy with 2 button presses. The real issue is other classes either has not much boon output or reliant boon output wich can be fixed without destroying previous but at same time if every class could do everything the classes would feel like copy pasta of the other. Chrono today feel clunky slow and if not for soi it would been trashed for something wich actually can provide boons beyond rellying on 2 skills to do so. This game has issue it nerfs meta but sometimes it ends up just making 1 spec or class useless to point it would be better to just delete spec. Herald is like this its max dps is 20k or so on golem. Or scrapper before they finally fixed it before gyro well and function f5 scrapper was weaker than core

    > Moving the perceived goal post would do allot, i think they tried doing that with adding repeatable rewards to Raid CMs, but people are way too stuck on the default to care and getting a group and then even starting a boss takes so much time which is really annoying. The barrier to entry is way to big and it is all made by the people and we are at the point where arenanet should interfere. If we move the goal post a little like fractals do it, so everyone can go and experience the content there would be way more people raiding, Also in game dps meter would help even if it is just personal, seeing that you are not performing well by yourself is way better then getting told you suck.

    > If i were in anets place i would probably get the strike bosses. add some mechanics to them and bump up some of the current ones and slap them into a raid, there would be some epic long story chain in the next living world map, for the end so they could even use this as environment.

    > And with visions of the past they can make some old bosses Raid bosses, you can't tell me that the Balthazar and Kralkatorik fights don't look like a raid encounters at least visually.

    > Arenanet is being really wasteful with allot of their content.

Raids isnt really something majority cares about mainly for this is a game wich wasnt made for difficult content or end game
