Most likely Jormag itself. Bangar doesn't have that sort of control, and the Spirits don't appear to like being used like they are, so I doubt they are giving it out directly. > @"HotDelirium.7984" said: > Also, did we ever find out why Steel Warband recommited themselves to Bangar's cause? Nicabar was questioning the movement then SPLAT. Steel followed Ryland, and Ryland followed Bangar. Nicabar may have questioned Bangar's actions, but he was loyal to his warband leader, and Ryland told him to follow Bangar, so he did. The capture of Cinder likely made it personal for the rest of the Steel Warband to fight against the United Legions.

If drakkar is no longer around are they then still influenced by Jormag and Bangar somehow is rerouting their spiritual power to his forces? I'm so lost. It was Jormag who corrupted the spirits, and its to the dragon their power went too. Drakker was just tapping into it to make himself more powerful. We also never "subjugated" the corrupted Spirits. We helped remind them who they were, so they would give their powers to Braham to defeat Drakker, but the spirits mention they don't believe they can ever be free of Jormag's corruption in Drizzlewood. So Jormag still has their powers, which is why Fallen and Aberrant creatures show up during the attack on the Frost Citadel

The Saga started off very strong and it’s fairly obvious it was meant to be much longer at this point, but has been panned in favor of the expansion. Which is why we’re seeing the current uproar regarding Champions, because they’re massively cutting corners to push out EoDs. > > I mourn the potential Icebrood Saga had. It could’ve easily been 12+ episodes with multiple maps dedicated to exploring lore for multiple races and building up Primordus as the climax. I think Novera King (narrative lead that left in October) had done a great job and gave us some of the most compelling character development/storytelling in years. Except this is completely inaccurate. Even back on Feb 3rd, just after episode 2 "Shadow in the Ice" dropped, and before COVID became a problem, Anet stated that, after episode 4, they were going to go back to more LWS1 style content. And the number of Champions releases is equal to the number of releases we knew from episode 2 that we were going to get. Icebrood Saga was never planned to be longer then this. Especially not 12+ episodes. > @"battledrone.8315" said: > i am playing another ncsoft title, champions online, and they have been hanging on the brink for years now. Champions Online is developed by Cryptic Studios and published by Perfect World. It has nothing to do with NCSoft.

We know each release is going to get multiple new content updates in the weeks following its initial launch. 2. We know the Ebon Vanguard faction is part of this release, which would imply that the Ebonhawk DRM is coming this release also. 3. this means chapter 1 will have 4, probably 5, of the DRMs. Chapter 2 will likely have just as many, meaning all 10 are covered in the first two chapters alone. Leaving the last two chapters with other content 4. This would be consistent with GW2's, and game development in general. There is no way they would be far enough along with content for the last two chapters to put it in the trailer like they did.

Forcing players who play IceBrood Saga to buy both LS3 and LS4 to play all the DRMs, I don't think the devs have ever done anything like that before. There is nothing suggesting you will have to buy LWS3 and 4 to play all the DRMs. The DRMs are instances one access from the EoTN. Only thing you will need is the Champions episode.

  7. > @"Ashantara.8731" said: > Oh my... Where did you read that information? I hope it's not accurate. 10?!? There's supposedly going to be 10 total. Not 10 more after this one. And thats largely based off of people finding the icons for the new mastery points in the current version of the game maps.
  8. > @"Bast.7253" said: > But I imagine it's pretty hectic as it all seems last minute and unplanned. I mean, Anet stated back in February 3rd, just after episode 2 came out, that they were planning to do this. And that wasn't presented as a recent decision either. So we are looking at around late last year they had the idea for this.
  9. There is nothing indicating that the Elder Dragons are directly related to each other. Jormag's comment to Aurene is most likely just figurative due to the fact they are all Elder Dragons.
