I really do think that the only way they can outdo mounts is with a new race or housing. If they were to bring out the xpac without one of these the community would be extremely disappointed due to self-convincing that it would be the new big thing. On a side note, I'd really like them to fix the big issues the game has regarding difficulty scaling, linearity of story (s1 still missing, visions of the past didn't do jack omegalul), extreme inventory and currency clutter, fps issues, etc etc. And I really hope the maps are not dead on arrival like path of fire. they were fun to explore, but there's 0 reason to return to them if its not for HPs.

while the intention is good, the reality of this would be catastrophic TP going to hell, scams, people not playing the game and getting the stuff instead. I think it's a terrible idea.

aside from story (after the prologue), which imo is veeery lackluster, the maps are really well made, and staples for farming and fun. Sadly mobs are veeeeeeery boring, barely anything new or challenging, it's really off-putting having gone through the insanity that was heart of thorns, and the punishing range of mobs in path of fire and then regressing to the most generic mobs ever. Strike missions are cool, really hope they at least give us one or 2 more. Dragon response missions are very boring imo overal not bad, even if the content is slow and this final chapter is very lackluster so far, the maps are incredibly replayable compared to other LW episode maps.

while fun, i'd prefer they'd stop adding new modes and actually focus on what arenanet already has. pvp, wvw, dungeons (omegalul), fractals, raids, strikes, etc.

Hell yeah please! The new expansion could be prime time to add new hair and face and accessory options for all races.

Nah, I think the game graphically is fine and it compensates for its graphical shortcomings with really beautiful environments and artstyle. I think instead of a graphical update they need to focus heavily on improving performance. The game's fps is so whack at times.
