That is an awful exploit. That should not exist in the game.

Some burn stacks should have been removed from the permeating wrath skill or how it interacts with Dragon Hunter. Otherwise I think it’s fine. The only time the burn is a real issue is when there are 2 Dragonhunters, that the burn can’t be cleansed on time.

Yes. That’s why I modified my response. It would be extremely useful for a new player or someone doing living story episodes. If someone has not done Heart of Thorns, those mastery points take quite a long time to level up :)

It may be useful to new players trying to level up mastery points. Not so much For me with 299 mastery points.

Yes it’s definitely possible. But please do a little research and use actual PvP builds from metabattle or godsofPvP dot com.

Over 50% of the player base doesn’t even use these builds and play the exact same build they use in PvE.

So I would say jump right in with a build from either those websites and you will already be in gold 1-2 And better than half of the current community.

I think most competitive players only want you to do your best and play the entire match. Believe me, there are lots of cry babies that AFK as soon as they lose 1 fight.

If I had to choose, I would rather have some one that’s brand new to the game rather than one of these incompetent players that just AFK for no reason. It’s entirely possible to come back from a game where you are behind 100 points and Win !

I would love a 1 month season of conquest. Top players would be forced to play during prime time, and not smurf players during off-hours all the time.

This change to writ is exactly what happened when ANET nerfed Chronomancers and Scourges with not having clones and themselves shatter or damage around them at the same time. Both professions were completely unviable in PvP for 1 year until the changes were reverted.

This was a huge oversight and lazy nerf that will remove firebrands from competing above gold 3 status.

I would love a 8vs8 or 10vs10 Guild vs Guild gamemode. Not having this gamemode in the expansion will be biggest mistake ANET could make.

Writ of persistence nerf upsets me as symbolbrand was not really meta anymore. Nerfing 1 ability that effects all guardian builds makes no sense instead of targeting the real problem.

This is the problem with how ANET balances PvP, they focus on 1 ability to nerf one particular build, but indirectly nerfs every single guardian

Were people really stumped by the symbol monkey core guards build ? I never encountered a problem against it.

Now facing 2 holosmith or 1 brain dead Decap Scrapper every game, I easily lost 100 games over the last 2 seasons.

Although balance is important and keeps the game mode alive, my problems with PvP have never balance.

Allowing players to use bots and cheating programs often go unpunished for months at a time. Why can’t ANET complete ban waves more frequently then they are currently doing?

And there should be a punishment or dishonor for players that AFK for any reason for 1 minute or more after the match starts.

Properly Addressing botting and cheating programs will only improve the competitive scene and help keep gamers playing every day.

I would definitely use black lion keys for something Unique and well thought out. Loved the Vermillion Feather torch :)

Guild vs Guild 5vs5 exclusive gamemode that is completely separate from current Ranked conquest seasons.

New elite specializations to add new strategies and gameplay.

Non-traditional PvP elements added to PvE maps like Beetle racing Or Luxons vs Kursiks with Siege turtles.

Please implement some elements of PvP into the new maps. You have no idea what you are missing when it comes to siege turtles Luxon vs Kursicks.

What’s crazy. I think have 25,000 shards and 5,000 ectoplasm just in my bank. The thermo reagent looks like it would cost 1250 gold, which I have as well. Of course I don’t have the sand.

But it looks like I’m more than halfway to crafting that infusion that I didn’t even know about. It can be crafted if you put your mind too it :)

Didn’t ANET recently list job posting for Unreal Engine experience? It’s probably for another game entirely, but could in theory be used to Upgrade Guild Wars 2

ANET Allowing someone to hack for a 2 months or more is unacceptable.

This player isn’t even trying to hide it, attacking as a thief the moment you come out of spawn 2 seconds into the match starting.

Why hasn’t ANeT done anything to stop it? Why is this player allowed to keep his top 100 title that he clearly does not deserve.

Note. Sometimes there are even bots in PvP that should be banned that have 1,000 games or more in a 2 month period. Clearly this is gold farming with the assistance of a botting program. This does effect ANET’s bottom line on lost gem sale revenue.

This game mode deserves to have more frequent ban waves that occur more than once every 6 months. I don’t know if we are even getting that.

If the black lion chests were putting out ascended gear, then it would be more pay to win type scenario. But these are exotic drops, without “good” stats that are commonly used.

This monthly item is a great way for new accounts to get exotic weapon unlocks. Most skins are worth a max of 1 gold anyway. Getting a precursor is hard enough to get, that probably won’t happen opening 25 chests or less.

My personal opinion is that 2 weeks will be way to short and should be extended to 3 weeks.

I do agree that 4 weeks of a mini-season is too long. However, this is the most content PvP has ever gotten and will be extremely popular.

Even Veteran players that previously left the game over the last 8 years started to return when the expansion annoucement happened.

I was telling all my hardcore WvW guild mates to try PvP again this mini-season and you guys are gonna deliver. Thank you.

Now please consider extending the 3vs3 mini season one additional week instead of only 2 weeks. Allowing a meta to develop won’t happen in just 2 weeks.

This sounds like a boo boo my ranger greatsword got nerfed, let’s nerf symbolbrand again thread. Mantra lore and truth were already drastically changed.

Just dodge or walk out of the symbols, it’s not that hard.

You do realize that the original player Grotchan that created the symbolbrand build doesn’t ever play it anymore as it was nerfed that hard.

Now adjust more Ranger pet attack and damage skills as there were not nearly enough adjustments made this patch.

Those PvP, WvW legendary items should be timegated for players that have 1,000 hours in those game modes. That way it’s exclusive and prestigious to have it.

I will be buying 25 black lion keys when I get home. This is incredible news.

ANET take your time and deliver the best expansion yet. Early 2021 is completely acceptable.
