  1. Are we talking about Druid Staff in pve or pvp? In pve I don´t need it most of the time and I just camp axe/warhorn, only when more healing is required I swap to staff. In terms of healing the weapon is totally fine, autoattack and staff 2 are good heals, then you can combo staff 5 and staff 3 for area healing. Also the immobilize on staff 4 comes in handy on certain bosses.

That being said, this applies only to raids/strikes, since you have other classes doing the dps. In open world of course I wouldn´t use druid and just go soulbeast or any other dps class.

GW2´s combat system was made for PvP, while WoW combat is utter trash. I recommend binding a key for ´next target´so you can quickly swap between players/pets.

you could run the same with shiro instead of mallyx and have the same amount of blocks/evades from weaopons (no invuln frames, dont know where u get that from)

mallyx has invuln frames and blocks? where?

    > > The way I would interpret it is that players who do well on Rev do well on whatever other classes they play. I'd say it's not surprising that Rev players will be on average both more experienced with the game in general and more inclined to multi-classing since it is an expansion class meaning that pretty much everyone who plays it has played other classes before it which gives a large advantage against the multitude of people who have no clue about classes other than the ones they main. You can call it bologna but CMC has some form of data to base that comment off of while us players only have speculation.

    >

    > Is that why teams stacks revs during monthly?

Last monthly final had 1 rev each team :)

  6. As a rev main I was so disappointed when they introduced Renegade, one of the worst specs that came with PoF. All of the utility skills have no interaction with each other, you use them once and thats it. Now that everything has been nerfed (except Renegade) it somehow became viable, but let´s be honest: Fighting a Renegade can be as annoying as pre nerf Mirage with all the vision clutter. I really hope (but highly doubt) that they will rework Renegade one day and make it a spec that is fun to play.

Because this site is for PvE only maybe? ..

It is not about Renegade being good, it is about the effect spam they are able to unleash which gets even worse when you have multiple Renegades

  9. Mirage has been overpowered pretty much since PoF release, it is good to see it not being Meta anymore. It was the most unfun spec to play against. But yes I do understand that removing a dodge is lazy balancing, just like increasing the energy cost for revenant skills.

That being said, some things should not exist in PvP because they are just cancer and make many players avoid the gamemode. Current Renegade, pre-nerf Mirage, Condi thief, Ranger with bird..

LOL dude read the february balance patch notes and then tell me more about power rev not having been nerfed in a long time

    > Good point. It's rather the whole set. Does warrior have an AOE knockback every 30 seconds? Can warrior evade while attacking, like with sword 2? Do they have ~4 seconds every 15 of evade/block/knockback like with staff? On top of that, herald has a static 3-second total invuln (superior to shield stance) that regens their health too LOL

    >

You should probably inform yourself before typing anything here. Can warrior evade while attacking? Yes, greatsword 3. And rev has it on sword 3, not 2. Also Warding Rift (staff 3) has a blocking duration of 2 seconds and its cooldown got increased from 15 to 20 seconds in the big balance patch. Jesus, people should really try out classes / check the wiki before they start trashtalking them..

    >

    > Overheating locks you out of your Tool Belt skills ( 5 seconds with this trait ), locks you out of Photon Forge ( 10 seconds? ), deals multiple ticks of damage to yourself, requires the target(s) to be within a radius of 240 ( the size of a Necro Well ) and likely doesn't allow much/any room for defensive skills/utilities/traits.

    >

    > I'm defending the fact that this build is a complete joke if you're aware of it's presence. If it's getting Stealthed by allies or self-stacking Stealth then yes that's gonna be a little harder to react to, but the same can be said about a lot more things than just this, and something with so many drawbacks at that.

    >

    > As I said initially, I think the trait needs to be completely reworked. Not a huge reduction in power coefficient or any small tweaks like that because unless you're doing what the attacker was doing, going all in on this one gimmick, it has 0 value. It needs to be replaced with something that doesn't require you to dedicate every resource to it.

I mean i get that it´s a meme build and it was the first time that I have seen someone using it in WvW, but no skill/ability should be able to do so much damage (regardless of how much toughness u have), even if it has massive drawbacks to the user
