if you want to be more strict, siege ballista stick is not a missile. i would think that the engi has some skills that shoot missiles. if no, then you're right.

and omega golems have missiles. but it is not a generic siege. it is a robot that can be controlled by going in. generic weapons are ballistas, catapults and rams.

  2. the asura TIED/RIDING with/on the diving griffon will also have the griffon's acceleration.

so beware of that asura on a griffon. coz he's small and he got speed. with a griffon, he's heavy too.

and what is the griffon? mixture of a feline and an ave. like charr and tengu. or in Chinese and Western zodiac, the rooster and Leo.

well PvE and WvWvW are different. The thing that I showed is how many gold can be earned in 3 days of only WvWvW.

and if you're doing that, let's compare data by posting to this thread.

or if you intend to find out and want to do the experiment, please do and lets compare.

you don't have to say that like pouring salt on a wound coz I can retort to saying that there are people who are disabled and can't go outside and the only thing to get them entertained while at home are internet and/or gaming. and also those who have vacations. and also those who work at home. (do I need to add some more)?

  5. very nice question. that is when I have free time to count. I think from 10 am to 7-8 pm.

    9-10 hours/day.

I was trying to get the data with my playing as baseline. and if I assume that im in the middle ground, there are people who earn more than this in WvWvW or less than this in WvWvW.. but this should be the ideal, if you play 9-10 hours of wvwvw.

and that implies things that you should have to know like not all WvWvW is following the server zerg.

  6. I would like to share the thing that I did before coz I just want to try it out and get some data.

We all know about low level characters for key farming. it's not tedious but it is like the same thing all over and over again like how the second hand move on a clock.

so in the pictures that you'll see, you will know how much time you can get black lion keys from doing WvWvW alone, having 9-14 bar tick on rewards, harvesting tower/camp nodes, doing objectives, killing champs, or maybe getting lucky on a drop.

I started on image 3 upto the time where I got black lion scraps. I don't remember if 2-3 keys for that were included in the package that I bought before.

but the thing you must notice is the middle pic. it says there the average time to get the gold for a 150 gem key.

    and that's about 2-3 days..

at least it's not the same thing/routine, all over and all over again..

  7. someone posted some nonconventional tactics in the forums in about 2012-2013 here in the forums (not sure bout the years but its here, maybe in the archived forums).

    Just search keyword "Master Strategist/Boyd".

    > I'm not sure how people can expect them to work on a GW3 without it being a "unannounced project" until they get enough progress to show something and announce it.

my senses tell me that the "unannounced project" is GW3 and they rolled that back and are now focused on making (quality) expansions.

  9. the GvG that you are proposing is basically blob versus blob. The GvG in GW1 had objectives, like maintaining the flagstand for boost percentage for damage and health (i don't remember clearly but yeah [EDIT: Morale Boost]) and opening the gate, trebbing the lord's room, etc etc.

If you want GvG in GW2, ask them to leverage from GW1, where there are objectives for your roam team to accomplish, while your main zerg is fighting to death. or maybe you assault as a zerg and some of you split like opening a gate or something. I could imagine this as Castle versus Castle, and around them there are forts to cap (for roamers or small percentage # of the zerg.

Close to Alliance Battles + GvG old school mix from GW1 but better, modern and versatile to different tactics/playstyle ported to GW2 for 50~30 man team vs 50~30 man team.

Or you can trim down the current WvW maps and make it just 2 teams fighting. There is only the Keep and 2 towers on its sides versus the same for the other team.

and effin ladderize that to see which guilds got the skillz.
