    > I know it's kinda offtopic and i already have given my answer previously in this thread but I just had a neat idea since I picked up in gw1 Factions story again. The idea involves a new mastery point system which will allow us to further develop a new thing that previously existed in gw1. Heroes! The masteryies could be that you can purchase new skills and recruit new unique heroes for your team. Couldn't find the EoD suggestion thread right now so I picked this one.

    > I actually enjoyed the heroes system and it would be cool to see it return somehow.

Are you certain you played Factions?

    Heroes were introduced with Nightfall.

But if there was to be a team, why wouldn't it even try to fix their content?

It's been six months since the release and they stopped trying to fix it less than two weeks after the release.

I think the small team that was responsible for Bugqua Peak has been scattered to develop other things.

There may be a reason for that, but it's also established fact that Lyssa left Tyria with the others.

Therefore she no longer has anything to do with us, who were left behind.

Said reason can be as little as Lyssa disagreeing with the others and refusing to take away his godhood.

Unless Arenanet retcons the fact that Lyssa left, or we chase the gods into the Mists, there is no way for Lyssa to become part of the plot.

In PoF both Balthazar and his Herald use way too much AoE.

And their HP, as well as the HP of his Warbeast and the HP of the Forged Bastion, is too much.

In Season 4, Episode 1 Amala, as well as Scruffy 2.0 (and maybe the Wyvern, I don't remember that one) are even more AoE spammy.

In Episode 2, Lonai has too much HP and spams her AoE.

And that's merely six examples (or ten, if we count Balthazar and his herald once for each of their three times each).

    > All story bosses phase within seconds.

Not everyone uses META builds, story bosses should not be balanced around those.

I doubt they are related. But it's weird that we don't see more bears (and other animals) sitting around.

    > Every idea I see that proposes a "fix" for Hundred Blade is often just "make it mobile".. I can understand this but it would look pretty stupid if you were running around flailing a GS around like that lol

Since most Greatsword skins look stupid anyway, that flailing while running should be no problem.

    > Assuming it doesn't get resolved in EoD, the post EoD story could tie up the gods narrative by dealing with whatever Lyssa is up to.

Why should we deal with whatever Lyssa is up to in the Mists?

She departed from Tyria with the other gods.

The right thing to do would be buffing core trait lines, so that losing the third core line **becomes** a significant trade off.

And then they can start to remove the current trade-offs they gave to Berserker, Scrapper etc.

But I can't see Arenanet do that.

    > I find playing bunker builds the most fun and engaging. it's not broken like it was. if you don't play right, you get killed. If you don't pay attention, you get killed. It involves a lot of skill and awareness to play decap druid well. You have to pay attention to buffs on opponent and surroundings. I'd understand if bunker builds were still broken, but they simply aren't. they can be quickly decimated for one mistake. I would encourage you to try and play push druid and see how "boring" it is and how well you can do.

And yet others find is absolutely disengaging.

If they can't even make a slight dent into that HP pool, they stop trying, because it's not worth trying to fight.

And something that others would rather avoid fighting doesn't sound very appealing for PvP.

    > Trivia:

    > Lunar New Year (or Chinese New Year) is the Spring Festival based on the Yin Calender (as Yin and Yang). and it's based on the full cycle of the moon phases.

    > The modern calendar we use today is also existed in Chinese culture and they call it Yang Calender (sun calendar) or Nong Calender which mean Agriculture Calender.

    > It's more called Lunar new year now days because a lot of other Asian countries other than China also share this tradition.

The word Monday is based on moon.

The whole concept of months is based on the moon.

The word menstruation comes from the Latin word for moon.

Is the Lunar New Year the **first thing** you think of in all three cases?

After all, apparently you consider the Lunar New Year to be the most important thing to the moon.
