  1. Speaking as a wvw newbie I think adding some reward tracks that target what you are interested in would be really great. I've played PVE up until now and I don't find the current reward tracks very rewarding/interesting. A reward track that helped me build my world abilities (world experience points) quicker would be the most attractive to me at the moment. Why not have a straight forward coin reward track? Just show me the money! Given that the amount of coins can be set to be equivalent to other tracks why not make it straightforward? As suggested, crafting tracks and legendary materials tracks would be great. In any case, there are not enough tracks that give something goal oriented if you aren't interested in more armor and weapon skins and other things you already got from pve.

  2. I've only been playing wvw for a week and I freely admit I'm very mediocre but after a week of being killed an insane number of times, the thing I hate the most is being finished by someone in stealth. I really think stealth should end when a finisher starts rather than when it finishes. What's the point of finishers taking 3.5 seconds if you can safely perform them in stealth? It's just too frustrating to be killed that way.

     

    Getting downed with five 1200-range 5k-damage skirmisher's shots delivered from stealth is also not that fun. Getting hit by umpteen immobilizes and cripples isn't that fun either. Strangely, getting killed doesn't both me much at all, it's just some ways of dying make you feel helpless and are more frustrating than others. That's just one newbie's experience.

  3. Some things I have encountered/noticed:

    * Yesterday after the pvp following a failed Drakkar I was left "in-combat" and therefore not able to mount to leave or to waypoint, I had to logout in order to get out of combat, and I didn't attack anyone, I just res'ed a few people. There's that 8 minute condition that stops you from entering gates, but even after that expired I was still "in-combat". It was the second time that happened to me.

    * I also noticed that trying to res other players is punished hard in this fight due to the myriad aoe and shock waves etc., I would end up downed myself if I tried to wait for the whole res.

    * In the mob shield phase every time I pulled something to the shield it would almost immediately be pushed away, does the shield do that or was it players?

    * I have never been able to open the big sphere thing that appears with the rewards, is there a condition you have to fulfill for that?

    * With the green circles/dropping orbs, does it make any difference how many people go in the circle or is one enough? I.e. should I go to the circle if there is already at least one player there?

  4. I finished the Kindness Repaid chapter and got the achievement but I then went off to do something elsewhere without first finding a waypoint so I have no way to get back to the Sandswept Isles. I've seen comments that there is a way to get there from the Desert Highlands but I've looked all around Lifeblood Waterhole, which I think is how I got there before, though the waterfall, but I can't find anything. I've tried leaving to a different story and coming back but it makes no difference, I don't even get an option to replay Kindness Repaid, and I would rather not anyway.

     

    How do I get back? Thanks!
