  2. Try both, I love mirage but always despised chrono, even though it's very strong. I have friends who are the opposite.

     

    To me mirage just feels very smooth playing, the combat mobility makes you extremely slippery for your damage potential. The build diversity is second to none -can make nearly ANY combo of 2 trees work with mirage, and therefore are not stuck into any particular style or weapon set or damage rotation. Portal suddenly becomes optional since you can mirage thrust/blink between points so fast.

     

    I always felt stuck with sword/shield and usually staff on Chrono. Usually felt like I had to take Insp for sustain, that leaves one tree to play with for your build. Shield phant is filler, it's the double block you need, which means a lot of time stalling for continuum split/gravity well to come off CD so you can drop your one big, predictable burst.

    Yeah, and somehow they made the most crunchy and addictive combat system with no-grind pvp in that same game QQ lol

  4. Stronghold sucks and there's only one map. TBH it feels like they've just given up on attracting/retaining pvp players. They could put out a new map every month and have 4-5 active game modes, but no, MOAR LIVING STORY WHEEE

  5. I absolutely love the new phantasms. This is how they should have been from the beginning imo, they flow so much better now. I also love the new traits to support them in illusions and the new double zerker GS trait in dom. All good stuff with excellent synergy. I can finally play power without being locked into the dumb one trick insta gib build. Power staff is on par with GS, Chaos is suddenly viable again. Phants offer heavy, sustained, multi-target dps. You can time big bursts and the damage ramps nicely with might, but it doesn't feel OP since you're not relying on stuns and actually have to time your attacks and be aware of the team situation. Fantastic.

     

    Now they just need to give us back the conditions on clone death traits and I'll be shouting anet's praises from the mountain tops.
