Do you need to do voice chat, or just be on the Discord as a silent member?

I actually assumed that Jormag was male, as he's sometimes referred to as male, at least I seem to remember it that way. And considering what's done to female icebrood, the Jormag worshipping cult isn't very female friendly.

In your achievement log, you can see which achievements get you mastery points. There's heaps of them. The only region that causes me some issues is core Tyria, as I still need 8 points for the last mastery, - but with other regions, HoT, PoF and the living world masteries, I never really ran into issues. I actually have too many PoF mastery points (would probably be enough to do all rollerbeetle masteries if I ever unlocked it). Have you tried checking the open world masteries? If you have the basic mounts in PoF, you can reach many of them - and all you have to do is commune with them when you find them. They are marked on your map with a special sign. In addition to those, there are plenty that you can get with achievements, of which many can be quite fun! By the way, I am just a "casual", so if I can do it, most people can. Don't give up :)

Neverwinter used to have a "Gateway" that you could use via a browser, and as such also on mobile. It was shut down because of botters and hackers (at least that's what happened when I played, which was years ago) - imagine the potential it would create in GW2. No, thanks.

Feels like it's worse than before. Yesterday, I managed to do Metrica in 30 mins (yes, some can do it faster, but I'm far from being a top DPS player, working on gear and build slowly, at my own pace). Today, it took me 45 mins, same gear, same build, same tactics. Maybe the solo scaling was messed up? Anyway, also did a few in public instances - there are already loads of leechers around - so I probably try to find groups via LFG in the future for dailies, as having people AFKing at the entrance isn't nice - and you can't kick them!

I wish all the story would just have happened in an instance, as I had to deal with an infused (and maybe drunk?) Charr who constantly ran up and down, and in circles, and up and down, doing auto-attacks while I tried to focus on the conversation between Aurene and Co. And the people who talked about the story in Rata Sum - in a place with newbies - including obvious story spoilers are also not the nicest characters (imagine being a fairly new player who has to go to Rata Sum at this stage).
