  4. I do not understand why so many of you don't get that these bots are intended to be there. I do not know why Anet does not simply confirm it but the evidence is so clear that this the most reasonable if not only explanation for the ongoing existence of so many bots. Low pop is no myth.

But Thief is not a 1v1 *class*. And when it comes to 1v1ing, DH still does a lot better. Thief is a counter in +1 scenarios, not 1v1 scenarios. And its good at that because it can rip crucial boons from DH, interrupt their high cast time valuable skills with ease, and mess them up with blinds. But, in a 1v1 scenario that doesnt save the thief. He still loses. There is a reason DH was fine in the 2v2 seasons (though not top tier) and thief was either the only, or one of the only two classes that were unplayable. Dan has a point. S/D DrD and core Thief with Acro will get the better of DH but that's limited to straight 1v1s - doesn't happen too often in Conquest let alone 2v2s. Problem is these builds are actually very good duellists when fighting one opponent but so weak to +1s it is hardly worth a try in ranked imo.

Bloody hell. Thief damage is pathetic. Theyre still incredibly good because theyre so fast they can decap and +1 better than anyone else, and you dont need much damage for that, but to say that their damage is anything other than really low is silly. They dont do nearly as much damage as *any* other class.   9. You are thinking way too high of the current (!) devs knowledge, understanding or vision of the game and what they are doing. You won't find any reason or deeper meaning behind their actions. Multiple rounds of layoffs should be a clear warning regarding their work ethic (why is it so hard not doing the same stupid mistakes over and over again?) , public relations (how about sharing some comments on the recent changes?) and business strategy (how about actually listening to your quite competent community?) yet it only gets worse. It's horrible to watch what is happening to this game bc of personnel inabilities. Please don't take the time to make some thoughtful requests because nothing will ever be implemented or discussed by Soon™ Inc.

  12. You guys have a really bad memory if you think build diversity is bad. You can play almost everything and perform so much better than pre feb patch. Scourge and Firebrand dominated the meta of ranked and ats for what felt like an eternity and we all had to adjust to these two classes. All the teams could do was stacking Power Herald or Holos plus what was the most broken side noder. 95 % of games and teams were identitical class and build wise. Ofc some weapons, specs or utilities need adjustments rn but that's the most diverse period of pvp since a very long time.

  14. Grothmar Valley if you haven't already since it gives quite a few nice things. Crystal Desert is a very, very good pick in my opinion since you will get a lot of liquid gold based on a lot of random trophy drops which you can sell for up to one gold each. Additionally the final chest (Desert Armor Box) will give you ten Testimonies of Heroics which can be exchanged for HoT/PoF Hero Points to unlock and complete elite specializations. Furthermore you will get an exotic armor piece with completely free selectable stats (including the very expensive options like Trailblazers, Vipers etc.). But it is true, the Living World reward tracks might beat it with the "unique" currencies they bring in.
