The Guild Wars lore is full of interesting people, and it's been 250 years since GW1, so there's dozens of new stories to be written, no need to rely so much on nostalgia. Yeah, why should we get a well known and liked character when we can get someone unknown just so you can get some of your borderline fan-fiction specializations. > I think guardian would be fine, we already saw monks and ritualists wearing heavy armor during Winds of Change: https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Zei_Ri > > Even more, the Sea of Sorrow novels explains guardians came from mixing monk, ritualist, and paragon arts. That was way before the Revenant was introduced into the game. And in-game lore > books.
  2. That concept art of Echovald has me a little scared, I understand that the times has passes and it's suppose to be more "alive" than last we saw it, but I really wish it to still be a gloomy zone. It can have vegetation and be a dark forest at the same time, from those two pieces of art it just looks like part of Maguuma Jungle.
  3. They're still there on a Human. What I'd like to know is when are we going to get the audio for Coalescence of Ruin back?
  4. I feel like we're already a clown class when it comes to aesthetics. Revenant color scheme is: red, black, and misty white and yet each legend has it's own colour that is present in the energy bar, skill icons, unique animation behind skill bar and the hand glow. This is more than enough and if it were up to me only the energy bar would switch color to show what you're channeling and the rest would be in our color scheme.
  5. Haunted Armor outfit also has a glow problem, tho it appears only to be visible in character menu. ![](https://i.imgur.com/qM91KFT.jpg "")
  6. It is as bad as we feared. My only concern going forward is, what does this low quality content mean for EOD? Luckily Shadowlands is right around the corner.

I'm also not the biggest fan of giving a class starved for skills a weapon that would only give 3 compared to 5. The only way I can see scepter working is if they introduce legend-specific effects on a scepter mainhand skills and retroactively apply that to offhands, since we only have 2 offhand weapons. > > > > Solution here is easy: give it scepter + focus. Spellbreaker already got mainhand and offhand dagger, which are technically different weapons, so it’s been done before > > > > > > > > The way I see it, greatsword is really the most favorable weapon to add not only in terms of practicality but in terms of popularity. From what I've seen, everyone who wants scepter for our next spec also wants a Ritualist spec, which is already done with Kalla. > > > > There are other aspects to Ritualist than just spirits. If Rev gets a Rit themed spec with Scepter + Focus I would hope that they dive into the Channeling magic/weapon spell aspect of Rit. > > > > Also there are other Non-Ritualist Legends that could use Scepter Focus that would be way more interesting. **Vizier Khilbron** immediately comes to mind > > We need greatsword more than anything - soldier class without one of the most loved weapon-types... > I think the two-handed sword is the one the type of weapon the Revenant community has been looking forward to the most since the class was released. So any spec with Greatsword will be better than anything. I'd say hammer is the weapon that defines soldiers. Greatsword on the other hand we see on two scholar professions and one adventurer, so if anyone it's either Thief or Engineer that should get it. And it's popular among all the professions that don't have it, should they just give it to everyone? I don't think so.
