That's very true, i often forget the region prices differences.
Cheap alternatives:, instead of a new pc completely, a simple upgrade like this can help:
AMD :(honestly the 5600x the better buy but hard to get and you need to update the bios on motherboard to use... but, you need a older cpu to do that)
Intel :
You can then use the DX12 mod and get consistent FPS, especially if edit the Config file.

you got it about right on the parts selection. something like this even.
I say anything from rx580-vega64/rx5700xt(1060 6gb - 2070/1080ti/2060S) is about as max as you can go on performance... gpu wise

heck any 5600x with same GPU or better with same price should beat this.
Heck this should be golden too at 1080p
little comparison i did but, hard to see the fps and well it's at 5k resolution
using the ^^^ as reference 16gb all you really need for this game. 3700x is about the 3970x performance for games... well maybe a little off since Threadripper supports quad channel.

they were working on GW3 but, it was scrapped,lol. Most likely put on hold until a more thorough planned work plan is worked out.
So yes, it will happen, when exactly? who knows, it takes years to build a MMO. so never be in doubt.

wait it out until next expansion release. Hopefully by then the prices come down again. EX: rx6800 msrp of $580 is currently selling for $900+, rtx3060 msrp of think it was $320 is selling for about $1k.
Power supplies are in high demand as well and have about almost doubled in price as well.
by the time the next expansion happens, demand should catch up and scalpers should have run out of clients and Bitcoin should have calmed down as well.
If you wait a until then your upgrade should be at a very more reasonable price.

Yeah, the main one handling the duties are the CPU and Memory sticks. Currently parts are on high demand right now so the prices have skyrocketed even for older parts.
A budget price would help out as well so that people can recommend a reasonable upgrade.
Is the partslist what he currently has?

Most likely... It is that the world's cabling of internet infrastructure was not beefy enough for the whole world to be on it 15+hrs of the day.

I'll admit, not sure what caused it but, this year input delay is new to me... This coming from pve player. Although if they really are using amazon servers. They did have a server wide issue 2days ago. Might have been the climax of a issue that was creeping up on them

I just want a new game engine optimized for today's 10+ cores with 140+fps at high settings. WoW is tempting now that they updated the dx12 even more ???

Just get a X570 am4 board, the b550 cost about the same anyways.
rx5700xt(or rx5700)
16gb/32gb (flare X, CL14 whatever frequency, with the original dx12 mod, i got up to 13gb of ram usage)
a 240gb SSD HD($30) or 120gb m.2($15-$30) good enough
think a simple(corsair or thermaltake from bestbuy) 6t50w PSU good enough to run the setup.

if anything, i would like a skill that "everyone has" to attract the enemy or mob away from the group. Like to give the fellow gamers time to heal when downed or for others to heal them. plus, i want the bosses or mini bosses to be able to bully you... kinda like the Executioner ,lol. (i love that boss)<(*_*)>

what about some more combat skills for the Mounts?
or what about equipment for them(i suspect they knew we would ask for this)
... It would be awesome, to Pack my mount with some cool looking armor so that when we run through a mob; the mount can take the hits and give it more individuality... Mine,lol.

nice thing to read but, this will just promote Account hacking.
it would have to be something that doesn't involve the player giving away some of their own money or items.
If anything Karma points or Luck increase would be more like it. Possibly Mastery points for a Success rate.

I agree the maps are incredible. Well, I would prefer that they go through each map and optimize them. Like delete excess material or tone down items or textures that were a bit overdone. Or reduce a graphic setting that doesn't really improve the graphics in area.
You know how there's maps that bring down performance even when there's hardly anyone around.

Me: being healed thanks to others, when down someone uses their skill to teleport me closer to them to heal.
Me: puts up barrier to protect fellow gamers and uses healing skills to heal self and them.
... I don't know I like it like this.

There is options that let you hide them under special conditions. This not only ups FPS (1-2) but clears out view. Look in your options.

... have you done "Mentoring"... That can add a twist to your gameplay.
If you been playing that long then initiate
"/Mentor" and the icon will appear over your head.
Go to the early levels and help newblets.

Something to make all players unite for one day, that would probably cause server crashes but, be remembered as the day players fought for tyria... And failed, lol. Because of server crashes but, that would be epic.

the combo deal is over now, but if you look at your original thread. you should probably just upgrade the " CPU,Motherboard and RAM" and just swap them into your current build. should boost performance and help you wait out the GPU drought,lol
