There's already a difficulty decision: just get to the top or get there and also open all 3 bonus chests on the way there. An easier mode would just remove any satisfaction from completing it. There's really no enjoyment to be had from completing it other than overcoming the challenge. There's nothing particularly satisfying at the top.

I got the crystallized 50s trophy yesterday, but no coin. This was on a character that did content all over the world map that day, and some fractals too. Just now, again, no mystic coin on the same character. With this character, I did a complete Drizzlewood meta, start to finish, and a few strike missions. This is getting annoying.
Edit: the character is lvl 80. I wanted to post on an existing thread but accidentally picked one that discusses character level. Might be interesting to know that it's not just low level characters having issues though so I'll leave this here. It's happening in the same area, btw, Gendarran Fields.

It takes 4 weeks just to get the tickets.

I can't really judge this one until I can play it non-slideshow style. Something in there nukes my FPS completely and utterly. I'm down to 14-20, lower end of that range most of the time, 20 when I'm just standing there doing nothing. That's down to a quarter of what I'm used to. Plenty of skill lag too, but that's probably a different issue.

This may have nothing to do with your problems, just a general issue I often have with Windows 10. Win10 updates sometimes re-enable things I disabled and need to have disabled on my PC. My 2 most recent examples: one update activated some X-box related processes that affect performance in some games, and a very recent one turned a few onboard devices back on including a wifi adaptor. That last one gave me connectivity issues, because settings that still remained from when I was using wifi allowed it to connect and some processes, including GW2 started going wireless instead of cabled. I catch these things quickly so no skin off my back, but Win can throw people for a loop when they don't know what's happening or where to look. Windows is a hot mess.

That's where I got all 5 of them from before I got one from a Gift of Otter.

No, they aren't some big problem that Anet needs to fix. I also don't think absurd arguments like mat market pricing and "it's annoying" are compelling reasons for Anet to do more than they already do to address these bots.
"It's annoying" is actually the only reason. It's what most other arguments boil down to. Some people are annoyed because they think people are making untold riches without doing any "work" for it. Others are annoyed because of how they think it affects the market. Some are annoyed because there are apparently some places where the AFK-farmers (let's not call them bots) cause actual issues like with hearts. Some people are just annoyed because they associate it with botting and reject that on principle. If you're not annoyed, you don't have an issue.
-
Why is AFK farming bad? Simple. It annoys some players. That's not a hypothetical, it's quite real. The evidence is plastered all over these forums. And with every new thread, more people become aware, and some of these newly aware players will join the ranks of the annoyed. I'm not one of them, but the annoyance is real, and every aspect of a game that annoys players is bad for the game.

A Lion's Arch without the "By Ogden's Hammer" guy is not my Lion's Arch.

The festival will be over next time I log on. This year, I started with 19 Favors of the Festival in the bank. Now that it's over, it's gone up to 41. Please add some more options to spend them on next year.

I don't really care about this kind of thing, I just think any game that has a large part of its player base convinced it needs 3rd party tools to function properly, is an abject failure.

I saved up 6000 gems, spent all but 5 of them on things I actually wanted and anticipated being discounted. Good year for me.

I just had an event reward chest appear in the bottom right of the screen while I was waiting in the Crown Pavilion for the Boss Blitz to start. It gave me 3 Racing Medallions. I did nothing to earn them.

Why would you want to go underwater for distances where the speed starts to matter? The utility you can take underwater now is the real prize.

A complete block would probably be incredibly annoying for existing players getting alt accounts on steam, so allowing it with a clear warning seems like the best solution.

The new "Refill" button for the Mystic Forge is nice, but could it unlock at the same time the forge's 4 slots become available again instead of when you press the accept button? I'm used to skipping the accept button and just quickly filling the slots again by double-clicking ingredients. The "Refill" button makes it more relaxed to mass forge, but not faster.
-
It's convenient when you're doing things like mystic clover forging, though I can actually do it faster without the refill button which makes it just more convenient, not more efficient. I ran into the issue where an attempt gave me some mystic coins. "Refill" didn't find the stack of coins anymore.

I don't see how it spoils anything other than the presence of 2 dragons and some water. Everything else is just speculation.
-
I wish they'd come up with further improvements in limiting the amount of visual noise. Restricting these kind of effects to enrichments is a good start though.
-
Mounts will always make it more convenient, even if they aren't required.

I expect it to be within 182 days of june 30th 2021.

Looks like it would be at home in Lovecraft Country, snapping people's limbs off.

It's a hellish bugged mess that's for sure but you can brute force your way around most of the issues. Going back to character select and reentering a few times got me in a working Frostgorge instance. Same with the Largos. It's not how I'd want to do this, but I want it done, so I'm not going to sit around waiting for a fix.

The upward pulsing blue-purple streams are so annoying to look at all the time. If that doesn't show on charr and asura, I sure hope they don't fix that. It would be nice to have some races I could use this on.

Huh, I completely missed that. Must've been a thing when I was on one of my breaks.
Please add more ways to obtain Black Lion Statuettes.

Does anyone know, is it possible to gift Belgian players keys through the store from a non-Belgian account?
